I love DDR (havent played in quite awhile since Im bored of the songs on the current games), played it quite often on the ps2. I heard that a few DDR games for the cube will be comming out and was wondering do they have adatpers for mats, an adatper to make my ps2 ddr mat work for the gamecube?

One of the PS2 to Xbox/GC controller converters should probably work.
Aren't the dance mats just basically giant D-pads?
Heres a few of them:

I've seen one for both Xbox and PS2 @ EB B&M but couldn't find it online.

I've got 2 pads for my Xbox and would like to use them on my Cube when the Mario DDR comes to the US. I've looked and found pleanty of Ps2 to Xbox/Cube/PX converted but never a Xbox to Cube Converter.
If anyone knows of one please post a link..
Thanks,
Kevin

Could you hook up a xbox to ps2 convertor to a ps2 to gc convertor, might look silly but shouldnt it work?

It might just be me, but this sounds like a good way to blow out your controller ports.

I would test it to see if PS2 dance mats work on Gamecube now since I have the Playcube adapter but I don't have a Gameboy Player which is the only way to play DDR on Gamecube at the moment (since there are 5 Gameboy Color DDR games). I think it would work fine though since all a dance pad is a giant D-Pad basically and the D-Pad works fine when I use a Dual Shock 2 on Gamecube.
