25 to Life beta [Mobile/Archive]

Did anyone else get an invitation to the 25 to Life online beta? I got the email and it says the first 4000 completed applications will get in. Anyone else apply?

I don't know much about the game except i heard it's just supposed to be another GTA rip off, capitalizing on violence.

It was invite by sony only. You have to be registered in playstation underground and have a network adapter registered...

Yeah, they invite you.. there's nowhere to sign up.

I haven't yet but I hope to get one soon.

I got the invite email while I was at work today. Stupid fucking tech nerd we hired put a lot of blocks on our websites and the one linked to in the email was blocked (along with CAG :cry: ). I had to wait until I got home to sign up.

I didn't get any kind of confirmation other than I had successfully signed up for Sony's beta testing program.

Hmm... I find that interesting, since I got an invite, but I don't have a network adapter. I wonder if they'll notice that before they approve my application.

I got one but I didn't sign up. It looks dumb as brick to me.

I was asked to help choose the box art though.. as I'm sure all of you who got beta invites did, too. It was graffiti so I had to oblige.

I got my confirmation. Looks like we should be getting the disc around the last week of June unless there are some issues that come up. I haven't done a Beta for PS2 since everquest online adventures.

this game really blows!!!
it didn't help that there were like no people on-line, but the graphics, control, and whole layout just really isn't very fun.

I'm in and have put in about 8 hours so far.

If u are having control troubles, switch to first person mode -- 3rd person is a little too loose and floaty (it totally sucks) -- 1st person is much tighter and more fun.

The control layout is actually pretty good and quickly becomes intuitive -- the only thing really missing is the ability to lay down ala "Call of Duty."

Also, play a little more strategically -- don't rush in, but use the wall lean to your advantage.
