Hi Guys,
This is totally for your information. Do with it as you please. A side note - they do offer regular movies in this club also. I can get you a list if you want.
The current Disney offer is buy 3 movies for $1.99 (no shipping) and purchase 5 more in the following months. They offer you to buy 1 more at $14.95 (lowers commitment to 4) and another one at $9.95 (lowers commitment to 3)
If you enter this code - 616170 at this link www.disneymovieclub.com the offer is a little bit better.
It is get 4 movies free ($1 shipping total) and purchase 5 more in the following months. They offer you: to buy 1 more at $14.95 (lowers commitment to 4) and another one at $9.95 (I doubt this lowers commitment.) If you get all 6 movies, your price will be $25.90 I believe.)
When I worked it out, it comes to about $10.50 a movie. When you fulfill your commitment. This price can actually go down or up, depending on what movies you buy.
A couple of other things that I was worried about that I will try to help you on.
1. They offer more titles when you join. None of the vault ones though.
2. The prices are different when you join. (They make you think all of the titles are $19.99 when you sign up. That is not true. There is a range. Most are $21.99)
3. They do offer coupon codes - 25% off, $10 off order over $50 etc. But it has to come through email. One code will work for everyone, so if you know it, post it.
4. Make sure that you cancel the movie that comes every month. That is where they make their money.
5. I will give you all of the information that I am privy to since I am a member. If you have questions, feel free to ask me.
Please, use me as a resource. I would be glad to help.

FYI, the other movies they offer come from Disney subsidiary studios such as Buena Vista (Signs and The Village) and Miramax (Pokemon). These are titles they won't allow Columbia House to offer.
I joined last year and the code I used got me 3 DVDs for $1 shipping. It was $1 ONLY because I used my VISA bankcard to pay immediately. Otherwise, it was going to be $5.95. I didn't get the $14.95 title so I'm still commited to buy 5 more DVDs.
There was a slight incident I had with them last week. I received a DVD that I didn't want. I guess I forgot to decline the featured selection -- my fault. Anyway, I returned the movie on the same day I received it but in reading the fine print I find that they are only going to give me a merchandise credit on my account rather than putting the $$$ back on my VISA. From what I read, they'll "credit" me just the cost of the DVD and not the shipping/processing charge which is $3.95.

That is fucked but at least you got the credit back on the DVD itself. I still might join as some of the DVDs they got are ones that I swear that rarely go on sale anywhere so this is the best way to get them.
Thanks for the info OP. :)

No problem. Glad to help.
I can not vouch for their Customer Service. I have not had to use it yet. :-) My assumption is, if you need to buy 5 DVD's from them, then just use your credit toward that.
Once again, if there is anything that I can do to help, let me know.

Under "Grown Up Hits" it looks like you CAN choose to buy Disney subsidiary movies under this deal.

I hate automated help. I usually mash 0 or just stay on the line until I speak to someone. If neither works, I hit whatever button has me signing up for a service. Then they will talk to me. (I tell them I wanted to speak to a person..)

Good news! :D
In checking my bank balance, I see that they did put the money -including the $3.95 shipping- back in my account. I know I read it different on their site FAQs. Worked out great. GO DISNEY!

I believe many states have statutes that make it illegal to charge you for automatic shipments, even if the club you signed up for says they will send you something and charge you for it.

ok, Here is a new code:
56230 gives you $5 off each additional movie once your purchase one at full price. It does not seem to work with the sale movies or the mulitpacks. For some reason, you can get it to take $10 off per DVD if you buy 3 of the same DVD's. Not sure why it does that...
Also, code 60810 seems dead.
Code 57200 is still working.
