Here's the entertainment software listings from the Dallas/Fort Worth (DFW), Houston (HOU), Chicago (IL), Los Angeles/Orange County (LA), San Jose/Silicon Valley (SJ), and Washington state (WA) Fry's Ad(s). These prices are valid only for the dates listed in the subject line.

If an item is listed as "SJ only", for example, it could still be on sale at other locations (i.e. - Austin, Sacramento, San Diego, AZ, GA, IN, NV, OR), but it only appeared in the SJ ad. However, since these ads are not available online, I cannot confirm them.

If anyone knows of a website to view any further ads, please let me know.

Great price on Warioware: Twisted and I see that Musashi is back at its 19.99 price. But as I expected, Fry's came through once again on the Atlus games and Saumrai Western is on sale for $10 cheaper than everywhere else. Woo!. Fry's here I come. Thanks fido.

Vampire Night w/ Guncon? Thats sorta random, good to see though. Is Harold And Kumar the Unrated version? I'm assuming any version would ring up at $9.99, just curious what the ad shows.

This sums up my thoughts for the first ad posting.

For the second, it's nice to see taht they put up the DS deal that's been going around. I'll probably get mine from them since I'd rather let them have my money instead of BB or one of the other stores.

It's also kind of strange that they added the Vampire Night bundle to the ads this week. Seems kind of out of place.

Thanks anyway fido.

Great to see that they wil also be having the DS deal. And that's an awesome pirce for Vampire Night and a Guncon. Been needing one of those Guncons since I got Ninja Assault game only for PS2. I'll probably end up buying my DS there since I would much rather let them have my money then BB.

The ad pictures the Unrated version. I tend to flesh out the listings in the main post...i.e. listing if which of the different versions is typically on sale. I do make exceptions when the difference means that it's a considerably different price for the item, i.e. - Guild Wars.

If you were going to my local BB, you'd have no chance.

You have 3 strikes against you:

1. You don't have the original ad.
2. The printout will not contain the valid dates for that pricing. (see #1)
3. Combining a coupon and a PM is nearly impossible.

But that's my BB. A less savvy BB or one where you get the right employee, you might be able to pull it off.

Well it was a no go when I went today to Fry's for the DS. looked at all of the ads they had and it seemed that hte deal wasn't on at the Vegas Fry's today. The employee (who also seemed to be acting like an ass today, the other good employees weren't there) was shocked to hear of such a deal and supposedly looked in their system and said that it wasn't running neither today nor tomorrow. Le sigh. Guess they don't want my money for it. I'll just give it to EB since I have a choice between them, Sears, and BB.

I did pick up Samurai Western there and Vampire Night (this was $37.99). There are only a couple Vampire Nights left there for any other Vegas CAGs that want any.

Oh, I hadn't realized that that was the Sunday at for DFW. Still I hadn't seen this post so I just ended up going to EB first. They had only 2 Titanium/Silver/Platinum ones and 2 Electric Blues left, but none of the Titanium/Silver/Platinum came with the demo like I had been hoping for so I left them empty handed. Not anting to go all the way over to Fry's I ended up just going BB where they had quite a few of the Titanium/Silver/Platinum (but not too many blue ones), so I picked on up there. Picked up the last Mario 64 DS that they had too. Checked out and got the Rewards Zone points (hopefully they'll finally fucking send me something) and also got a $10 gift card that is supposed to be good the week of 6/20-69, so I plan on using it on some $20 game with a GGC effectively making it $4.99.:D

So now I have 3 DS games and 1 DS demo to play, but the darn things has to charge now.

Vampire Night is officially the shiz nit. Everyone at my house loves it. Too bad I don't have a bigger t.v. for it, otherwise it would be perfect. Plus, I'm so happy the ugn caliberates this time. Way back when in the days of CashforStash Coupon for EB, I picked up a Time Crisis 3 used at my local EB. The manager who rung me up said it was a surplus stock that they have given to them and had just opened and marked it down. Inside the game came fully sealed and new, but when I hooked up the gun to my PS2, it would get to the caliberation screen, but not caliberate.

Edit: What is Yoshi: Topsy Turvy? Don't know what this one is, nor what type of a game it is/which system?

CouRageouS
06-13-2005, 01:17 PM
Topsy Turvy is the GBA game with the motion sensor. Its a platformer where you tilt the game to move platforms and rock swings and stuff. The JPN name is so much better, there it was called Yoshi's Universal Gravitation.
