I was cleaning, and found this stashed in a bookshelf in the closet, along with about nine or so games... been playing it off and on these last few days, over the DS and PSP, and am remembering why I got it in the first place.
The analog stick is excellent, and the games, espically the fighters, are also excellent. Been playing alot of Match of the Millenimum, probably the best SNK vs Capcom game to date, along with Card Fighters Clash (this really needs to come out for another system).
It can be picked up on the cheap, and if you are a fan of SNK or fighters, I recommend it.
What are some of your favorites for this system, and what would you personally recommend to anyone else?

Awesome underrated system. I think the Sonic game is excellent, not to mention the Metal Slug games. Yes, fighters abound on the system, and for a handheld they are for the most part excellent as well. I find myself enjoying many others on this system too - Baseball Stars, SNK Golf (whatever it's actually called), and Bust a Move quickly come to mind. I've been contemplating picking up the tennis game - has anyone played it and have an opinion?
I have the system. It is great. I only wish more games were made. It was really superior to the Gameboy Color. Match of the Millenimum is the best handheld version of any Street Fighter-ish title mainly because of the controls. The little analog stick is awesome and solid. The sonic game is top notch and it reminds me of Sonic 2 a lot. The size of the system is great. The screen and color palette was also great for what else was available at the time. Being that it is SO cheap now its definitely worth picking up but just note their is a lack of games.

Heck I bought it when it first came out ($110) and I dont regret it at all. I have four of this little suckers (differ colors) and if your able to get them, get the lock boxed boxes of the games because they kick ass.

I bought one back when eb was on their last stock of the bundles, man I really didn't like it, to me the GBC was a much more solid system. I didn't even like the analog stick !

You mentioned both SNK vs Capcom: Match of the Millenimum and Cardfighters Clash before, which I agree are both great games. I spent countless hours in High School secretly playing Card Fighters Clash behind a text book. Never got caught once.
To bad their were so few games. I used to check my horoscope on that thing I remember.

Your story also sounds freakishly familiar. Your name wouldn't happen to be "Dan" would it?
