View Full Version : PlayStation snowmobile games

A couple weeks ago, I came across a complete copy of Polaris SnoCross at an EB I couldn't pass up for a buck. When I got home, I realized that this is my third snowmobile game for the PSX. The other two I have are Sled Storm, which I liked the demo for and couldn't pass up for three bucks; and Sno-Cross Championship Racing, which I got for free (I like the track editor, but overall it's pretty mediocre. Surprisingly, Crave just announced a sequel for the PS2/Xbox).

I've been wondering though, are there any other snowmobile games on the PlayStation, or can I say I have all of them?

Also, feel free to discuss these games.

I wasn't even aware that there were snowboarding games in existence. Anyway, I'm bumping this in case someone can help you out.

Uh, thanks, I guess. I mis-typed. Any paunce in his right mind knows there are a billion snowboarding games. I guess it just goes to show that I'm so not used to snowmobiling that I can't even type it right without focusing on it.

.... so anyway, that's what i meant.

I thoroughly enjoyed the first Sled Storm, great game. JetMoto 3? I think was the best of the series as well...thats like snowmobiling but with hover craft and no snow.....?fun regardless

There was a sequel on the PS2 - which was just titled Sled Storm. Why EA didn't call it "Sled Storm 2" or something is beyond me.

Anyways, I did some searching, and I've come to the conclusion that I most likely have them all.

IM pretty sure Arctic Thunder came out for ps2. GOod arcadey feel to it, although its not the hardest of games. Lots of unlockables.

Sled storm was a very fun game. I only had the demo, but i must have played it for hours.
