I was thinking of ordering Devilish and Daigasso Band-Brothers. Anyone know if,

1. A US release is planned for either game
2. If I wouldn't be able to play the game very well without translation?

Thanks!

Band Brothers is still kinda fun even without understanding what song or instrument you are playing. It is probably worth getting, though I am pretty sure that it is scheduled to launch in the US sometime this year, I'm betting with a different song listing, though.

I was looking at Devilish at Play-Asia, too. I doubt it'll see a US release and the original is actually a pretty good game. I have no idea what they do with the second screen though. I think Jam with the Band might see the light of day in the US. It was supposed to early on, but's dissapeared since then. One game that I imported that had a steeper language barrier than I thought it would is Guru Guru Nagetto.

I was interested in devilish as well, but not too much so after reading the IGN hands on

might have to check out some more reviews. the thing that made me concerned about importing the game was that review mentioned "lock ups" while trying to load new levels, and also that the game didn't fully utilize the touch screen

If you go to www.magic-box.com they have a review from Famitsu and it's pretty low like 23 (give or take).

Daigasso is pretty fun, especially multiplayer using only one game. It's not hard to figure out if you dont' know Japanese, so don't let that keep you from getting it. I guess you just need to decide if you would prefer Japanese music, or wait for the possible US release with redone music.
