My boyfriend just finished Zeldas Windwaker Gamecube and loved it. I bought him 4 Swords thinking it was similar but he doesn't like it because the graphics are not nearly as good. Game is totally different. Any suggestions on a great graphics role playing game? I checked a few online: Baldurs Gate, Baten Kaitos, Fire Emblem, Skies of Arcadia, And Tales of Symphonia. Which One ?????? Please help...he is gameless right now...LOL

If he's going solely on graphics, then Baten Kaitos and Tales of Symphonia are the ones to choose.
However, if he really enjoys RPGs I have to recommend Skies of Arcadia. But hey, just go to gamespot.com or some other website and look at their archived reviews. That should help you out. Let us know which one you decide on.

Tales of Symphonia, Probally the best in that selection. I bought the game 2 weeks ago and couldn't put it down until I finished it, great story and nice anime style graphics.
Defenetely a great RPG for its price (19.99).

Tales of Symphonia great art style. Very long game to complete about 80 hours of playtime. Real Time Battles.
Now only $19.99 Tales of Symphonia (http://www.ebgames.com/ebx/product/235675.asp)
Definately Tales. It's the best of those and also the most like Zelda.

I just finished Tales last night. Took me about 45 hours and I did some of the sidequests. AWESOME game, one of my favorite RPGs of all time!

Ahem...Paper Mario and the Thousand Year Door, though if he prefers the actiony RPGs, then he'll want to go with Tales.
And tell him to stop being a graphics whore

Summoner A Goddess Reborn, oh and Wind Waker is not an RPG.

Three choices if you're into straight RPG.
Tales of Symphonia, Baten Kaitos, and Skies of Arcadia.
All three are good in their own way--- but you really don't have much of a selection with the cube.

Tales of symphonia is the second best game on the cube behind RE4

I use it at times but try to hold back because it reminds me of a five year old child.

*EDIT*
Also, Tales of Symphonia is what you should buy - NO QUESTIONS ASKED.

I just started playing Tales last night, so far it's very good. It may very well be the best battle system of any RPG that I've played.

Honestly... if he's into RPG's, maybe he should spring for a ps2?
Espically if he wants "great graphics" rpg's...

Skies of Arcadia... or Gladius, pity so few people have played that. Although Gladius is closer to FF Tactics or Shining Force than it is to a traditional RPG style game.

Have you tried Metroid Prime? It's not a old fashioned RPG with tons of stats and experience points but it's still a very fun game where you need to find stuff to make your guy stronger.

This may be picky, but Samus is female.
