i have a couple of questions for an owner of the driving force pro or for anyone else who might be in the know:

1) does this wheel just plug into the regular controller port of the ps2?

and, if so...

2) if i were to buy an aftermarket adaptor that allowed me to use a ps2 controller with my xbox (like this one: http://www.lik-sang.com/info.php?category=83&products_id=1892&) do you think i would be able to use the driving force pro while playing forza? the reason i ask is because i'm in the market for a good xbox racing wheel, and when i used the driving force pro at best buy the other day i was very impressed. thanks for your help guys.

1) no. it plugs into the USB port of the PS2

2) using a USB to Xbox adapter wont get it to work on the Xbox either

If you are looking for a good wheel for Xbox, get the Speedster 3 wheel. It doesn't have authentic force feedback like the DFP (Xbox doesn't support force feedback), but it feels very similar.
