even though this one requires a membership, i still think it's a good deal.
DS+mario+pelican's screen protector and stylus=$153 after instant rebate
im gonna pick it up tomorrow

Yeah...I'd avoid that top screen protector though. It leaves this residue around your screen when you decide to take it off.

that pelican pack is a piece of shit, i returned mine after buying one... you can get a ds and mario for 150 anywhere now, so this deal is more or less worthless

don't worry about residue buil-up. If you want to protect the screen use the screen protector and if residue is left behind just use some Goo Gone to get it off. Goo Gone should be located at major retailers (walmart, walgreens, target, etc.)

seems like a good deal IMO. mario 64 deal is dead for now. you get 3 styli (normally $7) a cleaning cloth (probably around $5) and crappy screen protectors. saves me 9 bucks, and since i am so impatient, i dont have to wait

does this work at B&M? saw it on the website. might be good to buy games there since they are $3-$5 off the MSRP

I just bought and confirmed the fact the Costco B&M is selling the DS/Metro Hunter Demo/Mario bundle for 169.99 less instant rebate of $25 for total of 144.99. They only had the titanium color in my Costco. Also, the price is only good thru tomorrow (6/26). The best thing about buying it here (as many of you already know), is that Costco will take it back for refund or replacement "forever". Just keep your receipt, and you will have the benefit of a lifetime guarantee against drops, scratches, anything, without having to pay the $20-$25 places like Best Buy/EB charge for an extended warranty. Take off that $20 for the warranty ( if you were going to purchase it another retailer) and the cost of the bundle drops tothe equivalent of) 124.99. Now that's what a great Cheap Ass Deal!!! Great weekend everyone.

Why do you want to protect the screen, by the time that screen is messed up your gonna have gotten rid of the ds ages ago , and since you can get this deal just about anywhere now, i'll say you are paying $20 for a worthless screen protector , so this is not really a good deal !

It's $153 + tax, how is that paying $20 for a screen protector? It includes Mario 64 DS (yes, many other stores also include this still), the screen protector, 3 extra stylii, and is backed by Costco (most people won't need that last part, but as mentioned in the thread, it is good peace of mind). At most, it seems like an extra $3 for the stylii, protector, and "warranty". Sounds like a pretty good deal to me.

Oops somehow i thought the op said $170 for the deal , what you said actually makes sense though , not a bad deal but not to shaby either because 3 extra stylis are worthless and so is the screen protector at least for me, im sure a lot of people like these things though, , the best part of this deal is that you are getting the warranty , they were charging me $25 at EB i said no since nintendo is pretty easy to deal with ( give em a call tell em the problem they ship you a check then you ship em the bad ds when you buy a new one with the check) or so i've heard i havn't actually had a problem ever !
