Taken from Nintendojo:
A magazine scan has been appearing on several forums. It is supposedly from a Japanese magazine that reveals the Revolution's controller. Unfortunately, there is no translation available and there is no proof other than the potentially photoshopped pictures to substantiate this magazine scan as fact. Take a look at the image courtesy of PunchJump..
This is, at the moment, strictly a rumor. If anyboy verifies the magazine it originates from and provides an accurate translation, we will bring you the info. For now, this is likely just another fan created image. Treat it as nothing other than that. As soon as more breaks, we'll have it.

Several Internet forums have posted a scan said to be taken from a Japanese magazine that reveals Nintendo's Revolution controller. The scan details two seperate pieces that contain an analog pad, d-pad, triggers, and buttons on either side.
The page details that the controller will include gyroscopic control.

What does that scan show? It looks like chopped up gamecube controller.

So its supposed to be four pieces of a controller or what? I guess I don't really get it, because a translation probably would help.

Thats the back and front of one controller. It has two separate parts.
Someone at another forum I go to made something similar in their spare time. Maybe this is what the controller will be like.
I'd call BS on it if for only the pure fact that Miyamoto was saying the controller wasn't done yet. Also, there were rumors months ago about how the dpad would not be on the new machine.
Meh.

It's from Nintendojo which reports bullshit 90% of the time.

I'll call BS, the buttons on the back are to small and to close together for easy use. Still it's an interesting design. Personally I think the revolution controller will look very similar to it's rivals.
Wow!!!! OMG@!@!@! I always wanted to play games with a controller broken into 4 parts that I could stand in the middle of and levitate with my mind. Fuck all the people who said it couldn't be done!

Thats actually an old concept in a new picture. Those 4 images are of the two different sides, but on the last one they were joined by a pivot so that you could bend the controller in the middle.

Mrs. Cheapy just took a look at this and said...
"the Japanese is completely screwed up, it's worse than putting English text through the web translator.
The texts seem to suggest that it's definitely not from a real Japanese magazine. There is no right Japanese on it. The product might be real, but perhaps it was originally published in other language and someone tried to make it look like Japanese or something?"

Heh, thanks for the tip Mrs. Cheapy.
The pictures make it look like a fancy Atari controller.

From Nintendojo:
Update: A long-time reader named Matt Graves has provided some information which likely puts this rumor to rest. His wife is Japanese and tried to translate the text, but it is written in improper Japanese. They believe that whoever created the image may have put some English text through a translator and it came out with muddled Japanese. This likely puts an end to any potential veracity of this rumor.
