Not really a deal. I got mine awhile ago for $10 at FYE. Then I went to another FYE and saw one that came with the fingerboard. Not a big deal though, just a gimmick.

the fingerboard is completely useless... the game contorls much better with the "normal" control scheme.

..and even then the controls are kinda iffy. I had trouble getting the characters to respond in a halfway decent fashion. It rarely comes out anymore. blech.

Hey, I picked one of these up at FYE this week too! Mine was only $8.99 because of this "Club FYE" promotion they have in the Philly area - 10% of all purchases once you buy into membership for a year.

Not to thread crap . . . OP if you're happy with your deal then you are happy.
I too got one at CC (actually on the day --over a week later-- when the sale actually began) and I either traded it or . . . more likely . . . returned it to get my $5 back.

For collecting, it's cool that you got it complete. For playing, don't bother. Even if you follow the directions in the game, some of the moves just don't want to come off. You can't buffer anything. You have to do one move, then pause, then do the next.
I think I gave my figerboard to my dog as a chew toy after I traded the game in.

....I'm sorry.
Seriously, I picked it up at EB a long time ago new & complete for $5, and traded it off that same day. Blech.
