Not bragging...well alright just a little. But for all those interested in a wireless connection to Xbox Live, you need to check out your local Target clearance racks. I got the only one left at the store closest to my work. Had a clearance sticker on it "Was 79.99, Now 39.99". When I scanned it at the self price checker it came up $19.99. Had to get it...I don't even have Xbox Live. Not sure if these are on clearance nationally or if this is a local deal.

I checked 2 Nashville Targets this past weekend. They both still had the $120 or $130 shelf tag (I don't remember the exact price), and they both scanned at $80. :x

just out of curiosity...can i configure this with my laptop? I'd pick one up for that as well. (no, i have not done any research or googling..im working inbetween posts :) )

EDIT- you simply set it up with the xbox...and then plug the pc into it. too easy!

Picked one up today for 80...couldn't resist. Was hoping to find it on clearance at Target over the next 90 days and then either buy the clearance copy and return it with original full price receipt or bitch and moan until I got a refund.

I'll probably have better luck returning it...bitching and moaning never gets me anything.

checked 2 targets so far...still 80. although the notebook wireless adapter is now 39.99...might just have to grab one.

Must have been store deal, sorry. I checked another Target in my area and the adapter was not on clearance and selling for $80.

Nice find, I gotta check Target to see how much they cost there (I think there were a couple in the display case).

I'll have to check mine out...

I'm just wanting to get on XBLive for the two months just to download the new content for the games that support it and then kill it... so I may just end up moving my Cable modem for the time being.

But I'll have to swing through Target just to look.

My target has no shelf tag, but a white tag with a red stripe through it. It scanned at 79.99. Damn... and I was hoping to buy a few and trade for Steel Battalion....

first off, i think this might have been a one store only kind of snafu.

Secondly, on the laptop, you have to set up the adapter through an xbox, and once its set up, you simply have to plug in the cables. very easy
