http://www.cheapassgamer.com/forums/showthread.php?t=56900 Are you planning on starting many more topics like this today?

I'm suprised we haven't seen:
What games have not aged well(poor sound)?
What games have not aged well(poor production)?
What games have not aged well(I don't like them now)?
What games have not aged well(Insert some other stupid comment here)?

Can't you just keep it all under one topic?

Well, again, I think that these games still look great. Super Mario RPG, Chrono Trigger, Final Fantasy III/VI, DKC, Yoshi's Island, Zelda, and countless others on the SNES all still impress me. Goemon's Great Adventure, Zelda: Ocarina of Time, Zelda: Majora's Mask, Jet Force Gemini, Conker's Bad Fur Day, and others on the N64 still blow me away.

Sure, the technology gets "outdated," but art is art, forever.

there's a few PS1 games that I really can't stand nowadays, like Parasite Eve, but I'm with CoffeeEdge for the most part.

Tomb Raider. I'm attempting to play 3 now and it's just brutal. I'm considering just giving up since I have so many better games to play.

I'm going to say the vast majority of the first 3D games that were released using 8 total polygons or whatever. 2D never really looks dated if done right, but the deformed character models with terrible, pixelated, washed out textures in the environment in the early 3D games look pretty bad these days.

Agreed.

I wish someone would remake Silent Hill... the experience just isn't the same when everything looks like shit these days.

Luckily, enough of the popular games have been remade... it's one trend I agree with.
