how do i find out my dns server number?

i am trying to get started on xbox live, but i cant find my dns server number? should i contact my isp for this information? i tried the xbox live faqs but it just says to enter the dns server number manually, and i dont even know what it is. ???

It will be the same as for any PC on the same network. Depending on the OS installed use IPCONFIG or WINIPCFG in the RUN menu to see the IP stats.
