These last one year right? And cost $5? It works with the PPLAY15 and SAVER still right?
I guess it'd be worth it because the savings would definitely add up over time.

It depends entirely on how much/often you purchase used games and/or accessories from EB Games. If you've got will power (and don't purchase every cheap deal they offer), you may come out ahead by not buying their discount card. Of course, only you know what kind of shopper you are.

Ha, actually I think I'd make back the $5 it cost on the first purchase. Starwars Battlefront and Burnout 3 (both used) is $35.98 b/c. After doing the EDGE and PPLAY15, it's rougly $27.
I just want someone to confirm the Edge card and PPLAY15 and SAVER still working together.

Yes, Yes, and Yes.

I've easily made up the $5 that I spent on it in just a few months.

You only have to buy $50 worth of used stuff to make your money back. I "broke even" in the first two weeks I had it. Totally worth it.
I heard a rumor from an EB employee that they're planning on increasing the price again... If this is true, I'd obviously recommend getting in on it as soon as you can.

I wish I had an EB less than 45 minutes away, or that they sold the card online...

you're making back your $5 because of the addition of PPLAY15, not solely because of Edge. Edge takes 10% off which would be $3.60

Yeah, but you need the Edge card to even get the 25% off. So still...
If I get out tonight I'll most definitely pick one up. I was scouting things out online and I'm liking the way it looks.
Thanks guys!

I'm not too sure what you're trying to say. PPLAY15 can work by itself for 15% off. regardless, get the edge card, well worth the investment.

Your debating on whether or not to spend $5,and you feel even more compelled to ask us what you should do? What do you do when you go through a drive-thru? Ask advice from everyone inside?

I didn't really even want one, and the EBGames guy I was talking to convinced me to pick up one.
It's saved me quite a lot of money in the long run.

I would imagine that they'll eventually switch to a single card for both EB/Gamestop after the merger takes place. Given that Gamestop's card is $15 (though it does come with a Game Informer subscription), I'd imagine that would likely be the new price.

the edge card has definitely always been a great deal for me.. i've had one for years. it's even better now since it's only 5 bucks. gamestop unfortunately charges $15 which sucks.. although they do give you a subscription to their magazine and their card also lasts 2 months longer than the edge card.

True, at Gamestop you do get their magazine, but I really hate that one. I'd much rather have the $5 card and no magazine. I always buy from EB Games for use for that reason only.
Oh well.

I wish GS would offer 2 versions of the card, one with the magazine and one without.

The EDGE card is totally worth it. You may not think a dollar here and there is nothing, but they sure do add up. Especially when you buy a new release.

Hey, I just started working and making money. I'm leaving that phase, haha.

You're probably right - that is likely what she was referring to.
