Let's discuss this phenomonon. Recently I played Medal of Honor: European Assault, despite a lot of negative press. And after Medal of Honor: Rising Sun, I was ready to give up on the franchise entirely. I thought MoH:RS was as bad as Turok:Evolution.
It was no help that the new Medal of Honor was made by the people who name the recent Goldeneye game, EA Los Angeles Studios.
The game really isn't half bad. Sure, it's hard. The last boss is a killer. And there's a bit of slowdown in the VX Rocket level and a few other places. But, the wide open spaces really make the game fun to play.
Many people know the Medal of Honor game as a sim-lite, and health boosts in the field didn't sway any customers.
Next up, Test Drive: Eve of Destruction. I was never a fan of any of the Test Drive games, they all felt like demos. But this one is a hillbilly funfest. Imagine racing the wrong way down an oval track, in a hearse, while racers try to careen into you.
