i was wondering if american xbox controllers would work with an xbox from a different region? i want to send controllers to a friend in NZ for his bday because they are ridicoulously overpriced there. $80 for a controller s! i don't know if it would make a difference, but his xbox is modded.

You should be fine. I use my japanese controllers all the time. Great for Halo.

unless there was a moddification that made it so it was impossible to plug a controller in that wouldn't matter.. .and we have the japanese controllers (the S versions).. yah send him one or three..
