I know this is just me looking for trouble but I need to say it. 1080: Avalanche is so much better than SSX. Better music and controls and graphic effects. Outrunning avalanches is the best part. doing tricks takes a backseat to actual racing.

They're totally different. SSX is more fantasy.
Though the original 1080 is the best ever.
I liked it better too *looks at avatar*. Its more my speed, since I prefer the racing aspect of it compared to the tricks and stuff. The stunts are really easy to pull off, which better suits me.

SSX is better for tricks. 1080 is better for racing. The avalanche racing is really freaking cool.

1080 fetches 18.50 at fye, ssx only 7.50, shame. SSX tricky is the worst game ive ever played, 1080 was sweet, havnt played ssx3 yet...gotta get on that

i suggest u get an edge card for $5 and get the extra 10% off
it'll be worth it in the 1st month if not the 1st week
i was skeptical at 1st but then after i got it i realized how much i missed from not trying it out b4, one of the best things u can do, especially if they are considering raising the price like someone said
I got my copy of 1080 off EB's site last summer for $10. I dont know if its still that price or not (probably not :( ).

SSX3 is much more fun than 1080. SSX 3 is much more arcade action oriented, while 1080 is just about down hill racing. Not to mention how seamless SSX3's mountain was, it takes a good half hour just to get from peak 3 to the bottom of peak 1, longer if your taking your time doing tricks and crap. The Alvalanches in 1080 were pretty damn cool, but thats the only thing that I found cool. I beat 1080 in about week with every character with everything unlocked, while In in ssx 3 i'm only about 60% done with the game and have been playing it for well over a year (on and off). I enjoyed 1080, but I love SSX3, sorry to burst the bubble but just my thoughts, you might like 1080 better but I sure as hell don't.
