Well I've managed to build up quite a backlog, and I'm trying to figure out how I should get through these. The list so far is as following:

SMT: Nocturne
SMT: DDS
Disgaea
Phantom Brave
Riviera: the Promised Land
Hoshigami
Lunar: SSSC
Valkyrie Profile
Breath of Fire 3
Tales of Destiny 2
Vagrant Story
Vandal Hearts
Parasite Eve
Star Ocean 3
Final Fantasy II (psx version)
Growlanser Generations
Shadow Hearts: Covenant
Xenosaga Ep. 1
Front Mission 3
Front Mission 4
Legend of Mana
Chrono Chross
Arc The Lad: Twilight of Spirits
Advance Wars
Final Fantasy 9

That's all that I can find right now. I know it'll be a long time before I get to finish all of these. I work from 8 to 4:30 in the afternoon (Mon-Fri) and then I have to hang out with the girlfriend so I'm lucky if I can get an hour of playing time a day during the week. Weekends I get a little bit more, but still not a whole lot.

So how would you guys tackle this backlog, or what are some of the games I should play right away?

Any help/advice/thoughts would be appreciated.

Alphabetically works for me. It should be fun. Have fun and good luck with that

I would go one game at a time. I recommend you start with SMT: Nocturne. It's one of the longer RPGs on the list, but it's quite the interesting game.

Most of those are reasonably long games, if you are busy all the time I'd either shove them in a box or sell them. With a lot of those games playing only an hour at once can be difficult.

I'd suggest you start with Advanced Wars since it's really easy to play in short intervals and portable as well.

You have one hour a day and you expect to finish more than one of those RPG's? Good luck.

Some days it's only one, sometimes more. On weekends I'm not nearly as busy and that's when I'll have the most time to play. When this summer is over I'll probably have a lot more time to play, so all is not lost.

I guess I should add that some of those games I'm not really interested in playing for a while. I'd say the ones I wanna get to the most are the Atlus games (minus Hoshigami), Valkyrie Profile, and possibly the Growlanser games since I've read that they're on the shorter side.

I say play them by their release date, with the oldest/earliest game first.

1. dump your girlfriend
2. win the lottery
3. quit your dayjob
4. start playing and maybe you'll finish all of those by december 12, 2012 (the end of the world)

I would play two or more at a time, so if you get bored/stuck/frustrated with one, you can pick up another and start fresh.
