So is Live 05 any good? I'm very dissappointed that two users can't play in the same season on ESPN 2K5. Can you use 2 users in a season on Live 05? Are there any classic teams on Live 05?

I own both games but I can't really answer your questions directly as I've only played in exhibtion mode (due to lack of time).
Make your decision based on which engine you like better, especially since you'll be devoting a lot of time to franchise mode.
I'm personally fed up with Live due to funky player models and poor presentation. It's basically stayed the same since Live 99 (with Antoine Walker on the cover)... when I have free time, I will probably spend the bulk of it with ESPN.
