View Full Version : Big changes for Xbox and Microsoft retail sites?

Has anyone noticed that the Xbox and Microsoft retail sites are changing to a different site? I tried logging in to both yesterday and they just had a message saying the sites would be changing to a different site on July 11. It also said everyone would have to re-register but using the same .Net account would keep your point totals. It also said they would be verifying employment when you re-register. From what I have heard they have never really verified employment, I wonder if they they will actually verify employment this time around? Hopefully they update the prizes more often because they have been out of like everything for months now.

OMFG, if FW is in on it, the deal is over with. Don't even bother registering at the new site. :D

lol, the thread on FW has actually been ongoing for three years now. Can't believe it took MS this long to get 100% serious and crackdown on non-employees. Up until now it had always been that they'd do random spot checks and ask some people for employment verification, but the FW "effect" loved to abuse the system and see how many people could fall through the cracks.
Are they going to verify employment by check stub?
