Have you ever just had fun searching all sorts of local stores, hoping you'll come across that ultimate cheap ass buy that is once in a lifetime?

Lately, it seems I've had more fun hunting for these games and these cheap buys, then actually playing the games. I'm sure I'll get back into the games sooner or later, but it's just the feeling of hitting a bunch of places thinking "Alright, this is the one that has the ultimate score"

Just curious how many people enjoy the hunt just as much, if not more than, playing the games sometime. I'm not espically interested in Gitaroo Man, but I know I'd flip if I ever saw it for sale for $10.

I'm worried what will happen when I actually get all the games I'm interested in - already the fun of the hunt is starting to lessen since alot of places stopped carrying retro games.

Thrill of the Hunt was good for awhile, then you'll realize it's a waste of time. Time you could actually spend doing something else.

I am like this, but much more in regard to books, not games. I never ever ever ever buy a book new or really for more than a dollar, so I like to search book/garage sales for the last book I need in a series for 50 cents. But I do love reading them as well.

I agree with that statement but I still hunt sometimes. The internet does not help. Cause sometimes very very rarely you will find something good or rare for cheap. However, every time I go to a pawn shop flea market or anything like that everything is at retail or what it' worth. Plus the boatload of resellers who think they will make millions on ebay by hunting every single "deal website" including this one. You know the type like last CC clearance how there was about 40 copies of all of the $1.99 games that were BIN for $19.99 + $6.95 shipping.
