There are a few people from Dallas here that I know of, but I don't know of any special deals or info. There sure aren't any good flea markets or anything in North Dallas AFAIK.
I probably even saw a few CAGs last weekend at Dear Friends in Ft Worth, though I didn't know at the time, of course.

Yeah, Dallas does kinda suck for flea market's, etc. But occasionally you can find some good pawn shop deals (I found Rez complete for $10 a few months back :)).

Dallas has several Gamerushes and Fry's so you guys have it good. I go there about once a year to visit friends and always hit up the GR's to see if I find anything good.

Have you guys never heard of trader's Village? I think it is one of the largest flea markets in the US, and it is very close to Dallas in Grand Prairie.

I have not heard of that but I'll see if I can find some info on it. DFW is so big that Grand Prairie is actually about 75 mins or more from me, depending on traffic.

Hell yeah!! That place is pretty cool for an afternoon of fuckin off. I don't go very often anymore but they have a shop that has old games (GG, Gen, NES) for fair prices and old VHS movies. They used to sell brand new games for like $25 awhile back but I never bought from them. I really should go back soon and see what I find.
Ps: While I'm here, does anybody have any CC games they want to trade or trade for?

We have a Trader's Village very close to me in Houston, and I love going there. You can kill so much time at that place and find anything there.

Hi, another Dallas CAGer checking in. Anyway, since no one has mentioned it, Canton's First Monday is one of the biggest "mega" flea markets in the US. They did a documentary on it on the Discovery Channel or TLC or something. I've never been out there, but it's reasonably close (~2 hours). I hit up 3 Best Buys during their clearance (Plano, Walnut Hill, and Midway) and only got 3 games I wanted.

The Mesquite BB had one copy of Growlanser for the sale that I grabbed.. of course, I went to the store the night before to hide it...
I think the Best Buy with the coolest video game section (of the ones I've seen, at any rate) is the one on 75, north of SMU. (crap, I think it's 75.. lol) It's a bit of a pain to get to coming from the north though, but whatever. It's got lounge chairs and an hdtv set up to play games on. :bouncy:

Hello, I live in north dallas. I checked out the following stores:
toys r us (lewisville)- cleaned them out of 3 galleons and some gba games. There are a few green tag games left.
circuit city/best buy (lewisville)- didn't have any games from the clearance that I found.
Im gonna hit up a few more different stores and will let u know if i find anything.

They just recently changed that area but I still don't like the management there and they used to have an awesome game selection at that particular store but they seem to have thinned it out a lot since they went to that new floor plan.

i'm in grapevine, and i work in fort worth (closer to arlington honestly) so i stop by a lot of stores in that mid-cities-ish area... don't have a ps2 or xbox, and i've been focused on GBA and DS lately... i'd be happy to help out other DFWers when i can...
and by the way, for those thinking about heading to canton for video game stuff, don't bother... yes, it's flea market style shopping, but it's known for an seems to always focus on arts and crafts and furniture... there isn't much in the way of "technology" out there, especially video games. i went there a few months ago, hoping to find some rarities, and all i came away with was taffy. it was good taffy, but it's just not the same...

Grapevine - you're lucky in that you have the only EB in the Dallas area that carries used NES and SNES games. All the other ones ship and games they get to the Grapevine Mills mall :(

Just a heads up the toys r us in frisco has like 50 games, most of them duplicates and almost all of them are green tagged $19.99 or higher. Some games are dbz sagas, fifa 2004, the thief (xbox), dead mans hand (xbox). there is nothing really good left.

Canton is definately not good for snagging games. Arts, crafts, and animals are primarily what you will find out there. Not worth the two hour drive if you are looking for games (though it is worth going if you have never been non game wise)

i'd be happy to keep an eye out for NES or SNES games, if there's particular ones that you're looking for...
but honestly, everytime i flip through them, there's usually nothing worth picking up. it's generally the same old titles you'd find anywhere... marios, tetris, lots of licensed games... they had kid icarus once, but it's since been sold. they keep their "best" titles behind glass with the used gba games. right now, i believe they're highlighting donkey kong country for SNES. not exactly rare or expensive...
but yeah, if there's something you've been searching for, let me know and i'll check when i go in.

Well, I do enjoy some slightly lesser-known titles. For example, I was looking for Faxanadu, Duck Tales, and Zoda's Revenge. But, I managed to find all those at a used game shop in Waco (actually the outlets near there) of all places, on my way back from San Antonio. I'll let you know if I think of any others :)

checked grapevine mills today... they didn't have much...
NES
dragon warrior (2 copies)
SNES
donkey kong country
donkey kong country 3
super scope 6 (2 copies)
i asked what was going on, cause there was just a bunch of other titles out for both systems last tuesday... and the clerk said they pulled them all last friday to get ready for a larger selection during the holidays. those few games that were out were "recent trade-ins" that couldn't get sent back in time. as far as he understands, all EBgames stores sent their NES/SNES/N64/GB/GBC titles back to the main warehouse, and titles will get "re-shuffled and re-shipped" to different stores in order to give each location a larger selection. i wouldn't think that EBgames really cares this much about older titles. perhaps there's some sort of classic games sale coming up we don't know about. or perhaps he was just talking shit. we'll see later on i guess. regardless, there was little in the way of classic nintendo titles.

Was going past Hillsboro today and passed a place called FX games exchange or something. Anyways, they have lots of legacy system games like NES SNES N64 DC etc. They had FFIII and Secret of Mana for like $45 and $40 respectively. Would have gotten Secret of Mana if it wasnt cart only. They offered me $20 for Suikoden IV, wish I had brought all my extra copies with me.

I went to the frisco tru and the employee told me some one cleared them out as soon as they opened. I went to the lewisville toys r us and got the last: fight night round 2 (gc), and romance of the three kingdoms X (ps2). They did have some dbz sagas for ps2 left though which are like $6 I believe.

That would be the asian kid ahead of me when I went first thing. They didn't have RE4 though at all. All they had that I wanted was Haunting Grounds, Viewtifull Joe 2, and Mr Driller Drill Spirits. He picked up over 12 games though.

Hey all, I'm up in Richardson at UTD during school. There's a nice Gamerush and Gamestop within ten minutes from here, and a Target with a decent clearance aisle too. Can't find a nearby Toyrsrus though, I'll just have to hit up this mad 10 dollar clearance while I'm at home down in Victoria.

Hey there I grew up in Victoria myself. Live in Plano now. There is a TRU off of Parker and Central not far from you. I have to admit though it's pretty picked over :) There are still a few copy of Geist (GC) there as of yesterday and I believe some Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles (GC) as well as some Blood Rayne 2's (PS2). Maybe a few more titles but not alot.
There is another off Preston by the Stonebriar mall in Frisco - it too is pretty well picked over. Same with the one off Central and Walnut Hill in Dallas.
Good luck.
PS. if you are talking about the Target at Parker in Plano, where the hell is the clearance isle? I never have found it.
I work in Richardson myself very near UTD (off of George Bush/Parker) but haven't hit the other Targets.
As for independent game shops there used to be plenty but I can't say I know of any anymore. Just about every chain you can think of but no independents. There is a store in Stonebriar mall accross from Sam Goodies that MIGHT be an Indy - but its more than likely just a case of me not remembering the name and/or chain. I do remember it isn't one of the usual suspects (EB, Gamestop, Game Rush, Game Crazy, etc.)
Wait, check that. There was talk I think it was on this board of a shop down at the big Trader's Village flea market in Grand Prairie. But hells bells that's 50 miles from me these days and I'm lazy! :) Haven't been to that place since I lived in GP over 10 years ago. I wasn't too impressed if memory serves me right.

I know the store you're talking about, but I forget the name. However, their prices kind of suck. I have found a couple of old Nintendo games there I wanted since they do have some used games, but overall it's not a great store.

Yep I'd agree. Alot of old stuff but the prices aren't very good. I think its a 3 letter name but don't remember what. One thing I do like, they have a machine that resurfaces the discs so nothing you ever buy there has a scratch on it.

PS. if you are talking about the Target at Parker in Plano, where the hell is the clearance isle? I never have found it.
I think he was talking about the Target on Coit between McCallum and Campbell. But the clearance endcaps for the electronics at Target at Parker and 75 are against the very back wall. Facing the video game display from the digital camera counter, the back wall of the store is to your right. The clearance endcaps face that wall about 3-4 aisles back (past the video games). There's never much there, the only video games there I've seen are GBA Ham-Taro game and GC Intellivision Lives! There's usually some DVD-Rs and useless PC software there.
I've had some luck with the Target at Richardson Square Mall (found Fire Emblem there for $14.xx and a wavebird for $7.xx). Also the Addison store on Marsh has some stuff. But recently Target has been kind of slim pickings for good clearance sales. Lots of FF1+2s still at TRUs around here.

Yeah, I was talking about the Target on Coit. Where is Richardson Square Mall? I would like to try out that target and the TRU near there.
I've had little luck with Target on Coit, most of their clearence items are non-gaming related. The only thing I've gotten was a 6 dollar Sony-brand ps2 Charcoal colored controller, and that wasn't even in the clearance section, but marked as clearance in the gaming section.

hey, at the East Dallas Sam's Club, Buckner and 30, they are having a GameCube & Gameboy Advance blowout with tons of titles @ $13. They have a special section near the photo processing area, and also check the regular video games area which still has tons of the $13 games.
These are the titles I remember that were $13:
GameCube:
R: Racing Evolution (w/ Pac Man Vs.)
Pac-Man World 2 (W/ Pac Man Vs.)
Metal Arms
Midway Arcade Treasures Vol. 1
007 Nightfire
007 Agent Under Fire

Sea World?
Power Rangers

Tak 2
Super Monkey Ball 1
Tony Hawk Pro Skater 4
GameBoy Advance:
GT Advance 3
Pokemon Pinball ($16)
Worms

Ok here is a repost of the info I put over on the Target thread on the Deals board for anyone around here looking for Guitar Hero bundle. The quantities listed were as of about 8pm tonite.
Textuna
Thank you to Alleycat for posting the DCPI# for this item. I used it to locate it tonite. My son is playing it as I type this.
For those in the DFW area here is where it is at targets within 100 mile radius ($59.99):
Medallion Shoping Center - Dallas - 212 Medallion Shp Ctr - 5 copies
1122 W Centerville Rd - Garland - 5 copies (were 6! )
7845 North MacArthur Blvd - Irving - 6 copies
3333 W Airport Freeway - Irving - 1 copy
4343 Gannon Lane (Redbird) - Dallas - 6 copies
554 W IH 20 - Grand Prairie - 6 copies
2315 Colorado Blvd - Denton - 5 copies
7003 South Broadway - Tyler TX - 5 copies
For those of you looking for it, take the DPCI# 20-700-0566 to your local Target's Customer Service and they can locate on their computer which stores have it. They will print off a list of those stores for you that even has the mileage to each store along with their phone numbers.
Good luck.

The big question is which GameRushes are you going to take them to so that I can go to another! :) - that is if I find any copies to trade (only looking for 2 of each, 1 to keep and 1 to trade). I followed up after the fellow in Frisco/Plano/Richardson. So far all I found was one Kuon that he had missed. Fellow that worked at the Frisco store had placed it behind the counter for himself. Unused, still had the seal on it. Still got it for $9.99. Going to keep that one to play - looks like a cool game.
All I know is I don't think I'm going to get anything from EB Games anymore. I was in the Richardson Square mall tonite (man that thing is DEAD!) to hitup the Sears (nothing there but one copy of Super Mario Advance 2 for GBA for $13 that I got). I went into the EB there and found a complete copy of Culdcept that I've had on my want list for $12.99. Had to put the artwork in another snap case though as those bozo's had no less than 5 or 6 stickers on the damn thing and they are NOT coming off...uggh...At least GS's single sticker allways comes off easy. I should have just gone another mile or two and looked at the copy at the Jupiter Rd GS as I could have used my GS card there too but I was allready at the mall.
Speaking of EB's...did you also check them out too? They'll be the same price there. Might be a good place to get a trade copy since it will have all the damn stickers on it.

Yeah I didn't check the EBs at all since they don't show inventory online. I also suspect they didn't get the reprints that GS did for these (much like... cubivore and others). But I traded my copies to BBs and GRs all over the metro. I passed by a lot of them while looking for Gamestops. In the area, I traded at: Jupiter/Buckingham GR, Arapaho/Plano BB, Renner/Custer BB, 15th/Custer BB. That's it. I traded either 2x Kuon + 1x ENB or 2x ENB + 1x Kuon at each one. The mystery man traded all the Kuons to the Campbell GR, since they won't take any more.

I may head up there this weekend but probably not. Most likely I will keep looking for Kuon/ENB's.
I did managed to find 1 ENB tonite giving me a Kuon and ENB for my presonal collection (the games look fun, got to try them). I did make it to the Josey Lane and Frankford GS's and found a Kuon at each. That's at least enough to get me a Shadow of the Collossus at a GR or BB - likely pick that up this weekend. Unless I can think of a game I would rather have.
Both of those stores also had ENB, brand new copies for I think it was $14. I'll hold out for the $9.99 used copies.

I hit them all pretty frequently as I live here. The Circuit cities have a few titles left. Compusa at 75 and Colling Creek is and allways was pretty bare not much there. A few more (but not alot at the Frisco CUSA). I'd give both it and the store in Addison (tollway/Alpha) a look. I was at that store yesterday and noticed they still had some Siren and other titles. The TRU's are pretty bare a few of the more common titles (Giest, Transformers, etc.) are to be found at them. The one at 75/Parker had a few additional titles put out when I was there a few days ago. Tons of Time Splitter 2 for PS2 and PS2 Call of Duty:Finest Hour for $9.98 along with a few other titles I disremember. The COD is I think a good deal for that price if you haven't played it.

By the time I went back to get a copy for another Cag'r (might have been you banpeikun, my memory sucks) it was allready gone. Think I only saw 2 or 3 copies total of it. I did get most of the $5.96 PS2 games from that sale.

Hell I didn't even know there was a GR in Allen. I knew of one in McKinney but not there. Where is it at?
Blockbusters are the most convenient as they are everywhere and pay the same amount. Just present your Block Buster card, sign a trade agreement, and they apply the credit to your value card. Simple. Only takes a couple of minutes.
I'm going to the GR this weekend but not to trade but to use my value card balance to get some games I want (hopefully). The selection at the BB's I've been to is somewhat limited - no Shadow of the Colossus, no God of War, nothing that I'm interested in other than The Guy Game but every copy I've looked at is scratched all to hell - too many horny drunk teenagers handling game discs I guess!

Well saved me a trip there at least :) Did you hit the GS's on Hebron in Lewisville (Target) and Carollton?
I had planned going to them this weekend, won't bother if you hit them.
I may just go up to Sherman and see if I can do some pillaging in a non-cag environment! :)Yeah I think 3040 = Hebron. But I did that one in Lewisville (Target). I passed the one on Hebron in Carollton, but I thought you did that one already. I just did the one in Lewisville, so Carollton is still untouched by me. Hey, if you go up to Sherman, let me know somehow... I have a want list of some stuff.

I go to the hebron (carrollton) gamestop every once in a while, they don't usually have much. I went the the gamestop off of josey today the did have an echo night beyond for $12.99. Also if your looking for any guides at the gamestops around here, i have been unable to find any.

I went to the Hebron (Carollton) store tonite. Found two Kuon's. Also managed to swap out my coupy of PTOIV (had bought a copy last week that had a few light scratches from one GS, this one had no scratches.)
Not sure where I'm going hunting tomorrow. Maybe Irving. That's alot closer than Sherman at least.

01-21-2006, 02:57 AM
Oh yeah, Irving had like 4-5 stores that showed having Kuon and ENB. I haven't touched those. So you're probably not going to Sherman this weekend? I didn't have a chance to make a list yet, so Irving's a pretty good destination :). Unfortunately I still can't find a Gamecube Broadband Adapter. Valleyview and Firewheel showed having them in the computer, but they said they didn't on the phone. :(

Yeah I think I'm hitting Irving - that way I can run by their CC, Sears, TRU, and CUSA (haven't been to them though I'm sure they've been ravaged). Anyways its alot closer than Sherman so WTH.
I can't say I've seen a Gamecube Broadband Adapter either but then I haven't really looked. There aren't too many online GC games, what you wanting to play?
Hell I need to quit looking for games. I spend so much time doing that, internet, and by the time you throw in my addicted BF1942 clan playing - I don't hardly even play the damn video games! :) But everyone else in my family does. 4 year old has GBA, 11 year old the DS, Mom the PSP, then everyone shares the PS2 and GC. I've got GTA:LIberty Shores for when I can pry the PSP out of my wife's hands...Infected too.

TexTunaI think only Phantasy Star goes online with Gamecube. But I mostly just wanted it for collector's value. Also, you can back up your Gamecube games to a harddrive and play them off with the broadband adapter. That seems pretty cool, keeping your games in mint condition while letting guests play them whenever they want.
Your problem with buying games is you have too many systems! Sell the PSP and PS2, and instantly you only have 1/3 as many games to buy, plus it kicks the BF1942 addiction! I only collect stuff for the Nintendo systems, I can't imagine having to keep up with all the games that come out for PS2, especially since I like RPGs.

Well I found absolute CRAP at the Lewisville Sears, Irving Sears, CC, TRU, and CUSA...zip, nada, nothing - not much there left just the usual crappy clearance suspect leftovers.
I did find a new Pikmin for the GC (the first Pikmin) at Sam Goody in the Irving mall for $8.99 - not a bad buy so got that.
I uh...did find a few Kuon's, ENB's, and a Galleon at GS's in Lewisville, Coppell, and Irving.

Nah its the GC version. Have Pikmin2 allready (TRU sale) so this completes that series. I think there is another there but it might have been a store display copy. That Sam Goody didn't have much clearance games..guess they had sold them all since they've had a sale going on for weeks too. The one in the mall near my house (Stonebriar) never did have anything good - at least when I went there.

I hit a couple of Game Crazies today but didn't have alot of luck. Someone beat me to the punch and got multiple copies of the things I was looking for (as in all of them).

I hit up the Gamerushes in McKinney tonight (Eldorado and Lake Forest). Neither store knew that the 25% off was still going on, and neither store believed me at first. But now they are believers!
Anyways, a few thing of note: both locations have multiple copies of God of War. TexTuna, you were looking for that right? Eldorado had 4, and Lake Forest had at least two. They're marked differently at $39.99 and $44.99 but will scan at the lower price. The 25% off ends either tomorrow or Tuesday btw.
Also, Lake Forest had a Soul Calibur III (44.99 - 25%). I think there were some other PS2 games of note at Lake Forest, but now I can't remember them. Another one was Metal Slug 4&5 for $29.99 I think. Also, Paper Mario is $29.99 new, and $24.99 used - 25%.
Eldorado had tons of Fire Emblem cart only, like 4-5 of them. They also have a N64 Expansion Pak for $4.99 if anyone needs that. I'll add more if I think of anything.

How funny :) I took the family and went in the opposite direction to the GR in The Colony today.
Used up almost all the BB credit. Got:
PSP
Untold Legends (New)
PS2
Shadow of the Colossus (New)
God of War (New)
Xenosaga II (Used) - got a feeling I'm taking this one back. The wife tried Xenosaga I from the CC sale today and hated it. If you are still wanting one, I've got it - opened and played exactly one time.
Amplitude (used)
Alient -vs- Predator Extinction (used)
GameCube
Paper Mario (New)
Ikaruga (used)- didn't notice the missing manual till I got home - damnit. Oh well, kind of hard to find anyways. If you see a new one anywhere in a Walmart or something let me know please.
DS
Nintendogs (Dachsund)
GBA
Hotwheels Double Pack
This store did still have the 25% off signs up and took it off of the used games but I bought new ones as I'm scratchafobic.

Wow Ikaruga at GR is a nice find, esp with the 25% off. I found a cubivore for 16.99 - 25%, but that's not nearly as good as Ikaruga. I don't know if I could buy a $50 new game from GR knowing that it was $40 last week. *shudder* too... difficult...
Ps: Do you want to sell the Xenosaga?

I may try the receipts thing again today. I tried last nite at one GS and they didn't bite without physically returning the games - which of course somehow I can't do :)
By the way my trip was cancelled so I'm still in town - have your game if you want to meet sometime just call my cell. I'm playing hooky from work today as I was off anyways for my trip. Will probably hit a few stores. I have my own personal ENB/Kuon combo I'll return for a free game and try the receipts thing again.
I made an absolute killing last nite on the B2G1F thing posted up on the GS thread about that.
That gives me 2 Ikaruga's. I'm taking the higher priced one back to BB for a full refund if they do that sort of thing as its missing a manual - the one I got at GS is complete.

Yep. That's the one. I gave GR a fortune for the one without manual so I'm returning that to a BB today. Game Stops online inventory is sweet. Just go to the store and get the game you are after. I looked for stores that I knew had 2 I wanted and hopefully the 3rd one too for free. Kind of struck out with that one with Kessen II but then maybe it's a good game haven't ever tried any in the Kessen series.

Dang you guys must be hitting the BB's in Plano bigtime with Kuon's and ENB's! :) I was turned away at 2 stores tonite - stores I hadn't traded at before. Was like playing musical Blockbusters to find one that would take the games. Those that didn't had little stickes on their monitors informing them not to take anymore. Don't know if it was an individual store thing, DM or what. Neither one of them had very many to any of the titles on their shelves (one I tried to trade ENB to had 1 copy on their shelf).
Those that did take them paid the same price though. Something tells me this might not be going on for much longer. :(
Oh well its getting damn hard to find the things anyways what with all us scavengers and b2g1f at GS and all :)

TexTuna
01-27-2006, 11:28 PM
Aha! So you must be the one! :) I went to just about every GS in Plano, Frisco, Garland, N. Dallas and Richardson today - not one single Kuon or ENB to be found - NOT ONE. You or the UTD student left a case at the Frisco store - that's the closest I came (go back and get your case, it was in the display cases that you usually find by the register for $9.99).
I found one single solitary Kuon that you guys had missed at the Hebron store in Carollton tonite.
I saw several earlier in the week when I was looking for rarer games at the beginning of the B2G1F sale - but those were all gone when I went back yesterday and today.
What kind of trade value do the other games have?
There are no geists at the 75/Parker and Frisco TRU's - but there are some killzones. Do you know what they get?

I spread out a little today - got the last Giest from Irving but that is about as far South as I ever get (too damn lazy).
No Giests in Lewisville TRU either.
I found a few Kuon(4) and 1 ENB I'm keeping 1 of each to replace my personal collection coppies I had traded in. That left me with 3 Kuon's to trade in. I don't know if it is corporate wide (I suspect it might be - they told me so but of course they could be lying), District wide, or what but I had a HELL of a time getting rid of those Kuon's. One GR wouldn't take them, one offered $3.50ea, one .50 ea..most BB's just turn you away now (this is Coppell to Plano) - I found 2 that still took them for $24 and got rid of them never to get another Kuon/ENB myself. Spent 2 friggin hours driving around town looking for BB's to take them - which says alot when there is one at just about every major intersection in Plano! :) Most of these stores don't have copies on the shelves or if they do only one so the directive is coming from somewhere up the chain. At anyrate, I'm done with those 2 titles. Geist still got me $24 but it was the only copy I could find. Galleons still work but I didn't find any today.
I did make a killing though with the B2G1F sales: (prices don't reflect 10% card discount)
GS1
PS2 - Jurassic Park Operation Genisis ($24.99)
PS2 - PTO IV ($29.99 - an upgrade to my $7.99 copy from the GC sale, will sell that one on epay)
PS2 - Fatal Frame II Free (another upgrade better than my pervious copy so will be selling that 1 too)
GS2
PS2 Zone of The Enders 2:The Second Runner ($17.99)
PS2 Kya Dark Lineage (hey my wife wanted the damn thing, $9.99)
PS2 Kuon free
GS3
GC Star Wars Jedi Outcast - ($44.99)
PS2 Kuon ($9.99)]
ENB Free
And a transaction I was real happy with..traded in the extra sealed Taiko Drummaster game only (kept the drum for my 2nd son so both could have a set to bang on when playing) for $8 (only paid $17 for the complete set at GC) towards a new DS Phoenix Wrigt:Ace Attorney ($29.99) so was a little over $20 OTD. Been looking for that game for awhile.
A pretty good day all in all...
But if you still have any Kuon/ENB ditch them tomorrow is my suggestion.

Yeah I've gone to them in the Addison/Frisco/Plano area the last 2 days.
I did not go back to the Frisco one today - I left some Pokemon Leaf Green's there yesterday. Also some PS2 Lego Star Wars and Donkey Konga 2s (good $19.99 games to get for .01). I did get the last copies of DMC3:SE from the Frisco and Addison stores - have one on my trade list now (2 actually but I'm in the process of selling one to a fellow Cag).
I think all 3 had the Lego Star Wars and Donkey Konga 2s. All 3 still have some cheap games to get $1-4 or so to get the B2G1 .01
All 3 have plenty of the Game Cube Animal Crossing, Gamecube Sonic Games, Super Monkey Ball, etc. that you can get for .01

man, i only traded in 1 enb and 1 kuon at the gr at richardson (like 1 and a half month ago) and now my account is on hold.... anyone knows wats going to happen?
TexTuna

I'd say it was for something else. Your account is still good at other GR's, BB's right? Just go to those stores.
I traded in around several hundred dollars worth and as far as I know, no hold - but I did not trade at any GR's. I traded at BB's and then spent the credit at GR's. Each BB has a seperate computer system so I made sure to trade at BB's all over the place never going to one more than twice.

Man this CC b2g1 for .01 deal was so sweet it isnt' even funny.
I kept quite a few games for the collection, got some to trade to fellow CAGs, listed others on ebay, and traded others to GC for Suikoden IV, Resident Evil: Deadly Silence DS, and Shadow of Rome PS2 (all new), and traded some to GS and got RE4 Premium PS2 edition (they have that game priced entirely too high - $49.99 new but I can't easily find it used as the idiots don't show that game on their online store inventory).

I have a couple of DMC3:SE's. I probably average about $10 in them with the 2 games I bought to get them. I'd be happy to sell them for $10 to a fellow CAG. Or check my list if there is anything I'm looking for that you have.
Thanks,

They had like 8 sealed (not gutted) copies of RE4 CE for GC at the Skillman T/C Gamestop if anyone is interested. It dropped in price to 29.99 when the regular version went to 19.99.

They are only allowing $7 on trade now on the GC regular version too.
The GS in Plano next to the Wallmart on Ohio/121 has new copies of the PS2 Premium edition. I picked one up as I was intrigued by the added missions, etc. I've not found this one used yet. I THINK it would be the $34.99 used but I haven't found it used yet. They get $49.99 for it new.
I went ahead and traded in my GC RE4 for it along with some of the left overs from the CC B2G1 deal.

Movie Trading Company on Greenville Avenue in Dallas has some good buy 1 get 1 free (of equal or lesser value of course) deals.
I picked up Growlanser Generations and Paper Mario 1000 year door today (both new) for 50 bucks... they do have plenty of games priced between 20 and 30 to choose from, I just had to snag that new copy of Growlanser w/ the opportunity to get Paper Mario with it.

20% off everything @ Half-Price Books through Sunday.
I found tons of PC Games and DVDs cheap!
Got a brand new copy of Beyond Good & Evil (PC) for $5, I still want the GC version though.
The Mesquite Half Price Books had some old Atari (2600? maybe, I'm not sure, but definitely Atari), NES, and Genesis games.
There are also some good used PS2, XBox, and GameCube games all less than $10. The only one I remember that was really good was JSRF for XBox for $7 before the 20% off.

Hey DFW Cags...don't know if they still have any more of the $5 gamer cards at your local Best Buy but if they do grab one and head over to the game section. They have some games on sale right now - picked up Ridge Racer DS for $4.99, GC Giest for $9.99, DS Metroid Prime Pinball w/rumble pack for $19.99 ($14.99 after gc), and DS Spiderman 2 for $19.99 ($14.99 after gc).
I didn't see any more Giests at the Plano (75) BB but there were some more DS Ridge Racer and Metroid Prime Pinballs.

The Sears up to Frisco now sells games (it might have for awhile but it didn't used to). Anyhow they have a few of the games from the clearance sale thread in the deals forum. I mainly noticed several (like 7 or 8 at least) copies of War of the Monsters for PS2 for $10. This is a good game that can be hard to find cheap. They also have lots of Non-GH versions of games that are now GH, like Killzone, Ratchet and Clank UYA, Sly Cooper 2, etc.

Went to the TRU in Sherman (closing around 4/1). Didn't find much, but picked up the last copies of Meteos and Viewtiful Joe DS for about $15 each. There's nothing worth picking up right now at 50%. Probably nothing until they go to 70 80 or 90%. They have multiples of all the games left pretty much.
Stuff I remember that's probably worth it is Battalion Wars (@50), Trace Memory, Pac Pix, Pac and Roll, Pac World 3, F Zero GP Legend (@10), Psychonauts (@30). Mostly a bunch of crap though, they have a million copies of the warriors (@50) and TS:FP (@50 for all systems). Oh yeah and Nanostray @30. Guides were also only 50% off, and they just have a bunch of Pokemon ones (LG/FR Prima, Coliseum), a couple FFIV Advance, a torn Mario and Luigi PiT, some sports games, and a few others. Nothing really notable.
If you're looking for DS accessories (like that pro gamer's kit) it's 70% off already. Also GB Micro Socks and a leather case.
It's off highway 75, exit 63. The exits distances are all screwed up though. From exit 39 in McKinney to exit 63 in Sherman is about 36 miles, not 24.

Mesquite TRU :
GBA
Final Fantasy 1 and 2 - $9.98
F-Zero GP Legend - $9.98
Texas Hold'em Poker - $6.98 (Fun little game at a good price)
Medabots - $6.98
They had tons of these titles. They are in a clearance bin at the front of the video game section. The Mesquite TRU is located between Gus Thomasson Rd. and Interstate 635 on Town East Blvd.
Also I spotted a good 5 copies of Phoenix Wright for the Nintendo DS at Fry's Electronics on 635 and Jupiter for $30.

Tons of PS2 and XBox with some old PS1 games, no GameCube.
They had tons of XIII for PS2 for just $2.98. Also tons of old Jampacks for PS2 for $1.98 a piece.
Some others for PS2:
KillSwitch - $9.98
Gladius - $9.98
Sorry, thats all I remember.

Good luck trying to find games for the current Best Buy clearance. I did manage to become successful. I picked up the last copy of Killer 7 at the Mesquite BB for $5 (Sale Price $10 - $5 Reward Zone Coupon). I did not find the Midway Arcade Treasures 3 like I wanted.
Today I had to work in Ft. Worth, so on the way home I decided to stop by the two Best Buys I pass on I-30 to look for Midway Arcade Treasures 3 for GameCube. The first one in Arlington (I-30 & FM 157) had nothing. I picked up the last copy at the Oak Cliff Best Buy (I-30 & Crockell Hill). The Best Buy Oak Cliff has a great game selection. I was able to find some games that I definitely cannot find at the Mesquite Best Buy.

I don't think there are that many CAGer's in DFW. I know for a fact that the employees had 1st dibbs because all the crappy 1.99 games were gone where I found the Radiata Stories. I also think the stores didn't have many copies to begin with.
