Original price $70? lol

Given that it probably costs 40 pounds in England (where it will obviously be much more popular), and given the exchange rate, I'd say $70 sounds about right.

I have the 2003 version. I paid $10 for it. The game is not that good even for Cricket fans. The 2003 version had horrible graphics and the controls were all strange. I am not sure about 2005 though.

Hey, EA can charge whatever they want when they have a monopoly. Good thing they don't have any exclusive rights deal on any American sports.
.....

Wait a sec. Nevermind.

Is EA Rugby any good? I almost buy that game every time I see it just as a "gotta see what it's like".

There are other Cricket games as well. However, I think that EA makes the only console cricket games.

Thanks for the heads-up, although I imagine I'll get it cheaper from the UK. Also it's looking like Brian Lara/Ricky Ponting Cricket will be a better game.

For the people (well Yanks really) that dis cricket - get a fucking clue you ignorant bitches.

ahhhhhh, feel much better now.

I have played all the rugby games. For some reason I have always had a fascination with rugby games for some reason. And the graphics are crap. However I like it cause it's like football without rules. Like if you are about to get tackled kick a field goal for some points and then get you faced crammed into the ground. Get the 2004 one its 10 used that is all its worth.

Peter: What the hell is he talking about?
Englishman: Oh, it's Cricket. Marvelous game, really. You see, the bowler hurls the ball toward the batter who tries to play away a fine leg. He endeavors to score by dashing between the creases, provided the wicket keeper hasn't whipped his bails off, of course.
Peter: Anybody get that?
