Does anyone enjoy or like the Romance of 3 the kingdom series?

I need a review of Rotk 10 for anyone who has played it.. The only PS2 game on my rotation is Rotk8 so i need a few PS2 games.

Rot3K X is great. It takes all the awesome things about VIII and makes them better (except there is no multiplayer). The duels are more interesting (and happen more often), there are more historical events and the game tends to follow history unless you personally divert history (which was a problem in the previous games).

The graphics are also a noticable step up from VIII, which some pretty awesome animations and more beautiful landscapes. If you liked VIII, I have little doubt you'll like this. However, it is very different from the other games in the series. If you're more a fan of I-VI and IX, you probably won't like this. X is even more of an RPG than VIII, with more emphasis on development of your character. Conquering China is still the main goal, but building up a kickass character (created or historical) goes a long way in doing that.

sephitor did a great job summing up the game but there are two things I just have to point out because they REALLY annoyed me.

1. The AI completely sucks, probably the worst in the series

2. You can't control cities other than the one you currently reside in. It completely slows down the game and you have to hope your idiot prefects make reasonable judgements when they decided to attack and hope they come to your aid when you request reinforcements.
