I have had two unsatisfactory experiences with rebates from TigerDirect. I have also heard of many others with similar issues in not getting rebates from them. If the rebate is from a MFG and not TigerDirect then it is safer, however I would not trust them.

Also check BBB.org and look for the TigerDirect listing (Flager, FL) and you will see they have a unsatisfactory record which mentions rebates. I would consider any rebates offered by TigerDirect a buyer beware.

Has anyone used that HDD for HDLoader? I was planning on getting a 160 GB. or 200 GB. Maxtor since that's the default HDD for PS2 but if this is cheaper and works just as well without modifying the pins I'm interested.
And YES I'm using this for legit purposes i.e. I'm lazy and HATE load time.
