I'm playing star wars:jedi knight: jedi academy and I'm nearing the end. I go to save my game and notice all my saves are gone (I'm using the internal memory, I don't have a memory card). I try to make a new save, and it tells me the memory is all used up and there's no more available. I can go to the store and buy a memory card tomorrow (which takes care of the game I'm playing, assuming the power doesn't go out or anything), but is there anyway to fix this? Everytime I've ever seen internal or external memory die it always allows me to save new games, it just doesn't keep them once I turn the power off.

Something similar happened to me with PoP:WW. So what I ended up doing was saving the game on a memory card and deleting the old PoP:WW saves. Just to let you know even if you have played the entire xbox library your HD wouldn't be full just from saves. There 5GB of space in that thing. If it's a bad drive I would suggest picking up a protection plan from microsoft for $19.99 and having them fix it or you can do it yourself but that voids the warranty.

Ya, I know somethings wrong since I was just saving over an old save so no new memory was needed. I'm trying to figure out if it's dead or just having a problem. The problem is I suck at the game, so I need to save constantly between checkpoints, so I can't get anywhere until I get a memory card.
