TPX vs. CAG

I promise to the Moderators of these forums this thread will remain on topic. No flame wars will be started from TPX so I assume none will come from CAG.

Now, we challenge first the CAG clan. They seem to be the junior of the clans, so we would like to fight them first. Win or lose, we would like to challenge the CAGtacular clan after, but we can discuss that later.

Games will be as follows:

1. 4v4 TS on Lockout; Standard Matchmaking rules.
2. 4v4 CAG makes gametype/map; Standard Matchmaking rules.
3. 4v4 TBD

This is what we agreed on right? My aim is Kholdstare565 if any of the leaders need to contact me.

Craven, around what date are we looking at? You said you needed to gather your members, so we wait on you. My team members are ready for any date (except July 23rd); so you are free to make the time and date.

Also, a question. How will the 3rd game be determined? I've never done a 3 game clan match so I don't know how that will work.

No we aren't, unless the 4 that are part of it are going to after your guys match. I haven't the slightest clue what the CAG group is doing yet, so we may be a few weeks away from the challenge, as it seems a few members aren't going to be able to play. I will update Kam once I have everything figured out.

Actually, we'd really like to play you again...Some of our connections were spotty in the last game. I jumped right into the matches with you guys without any warmup, but I was off my game anyways, so I guess it wouldn't have mattered.

It's too bad that I probably won't be able to play next time though, since my clanmates like to shift the blame for us losing towards one person in particular.

But if you want to play again sometime, sure. Both Kouryu and Noodles came in without warmup because they don't know what "timezones" are so they came in like at the last second! :lol:

But it's kind of funny though how bad we got owned at the 1 Flag on Zanzibar. Props at being very good at objective games. We need to work on those ourselves. Team Slayer is our game.

You seem to have the walk for the talk because you guys got the flag out of our base so fast it was crazy. Yeah, we love TS on Lockout. But as you can see by the game stats, both me and Shifty didn't play too well.

This has been our first real clan challenge, so I was a bit shaken up. I hesitated a lot. Luckily, Noodles and Kouryu remained calm and were able to carry us and keep us in check.

And I figured it would be your best game-type/map because after all, you picked it. ;)

Well, we started as one big clan at launch. Eventually, all the more competitive players splintered off to become CAGtacular. That was somewhere around March I believe. Everyone you played with tonite have been playing together since launch, save for Crymson who joined the clan sometime in January.

Sorry, would have posted last night but I was so tired that I passed out right after the match.

Anyways, good game guys! I only played the TS on Lockout and the Sniper game on Colossus. Kali King 69 switched with me for the 1 Flag at Relic so I don't know what all happened that game. But looking at the game viewer I see that a crispy donut was dominating my team with that Sniper! (11 Sniper Medals). So I suspect that it was a tough game for both teams.

The TS on Lockout was a good game (for Tmac :cry: ). At the start, CAG pulled away with a quick 3 kills and my team was horribly disorganized. We were a little too focused on controlling the sniper from the start that we sort of let our guards down. But once some pep talking was made, we pulled it together. By the way, who was it that I stuck with a plasma grendade that I randomaly threw into the grav lift room? My entire team lit up with "OMG!" when it said I stuck someone.

As for the Snipers game, it started off good for me but then lag started coming on me like something else. I got 11 kills really quick, but the lag pretty much stalled me for the rest of the game. Did CAG expierence any lag in that game? I remember my team mates saying there wasn't much lag for them.

Either way, we enjoyed the matches from both of your teams. We will be kind of busy here soon dealing with challenges on GameBattles (we face iPMS tonight! :cold: ) and maybe a few local things. There's even a few events in Atlanta that we're looking at. But once all that dies down, we would love rematches with either clans if you guys want.
