'm no longer selling Gran Turismo 4 (returned to vendor). I've edited the auction & replaced it with Tenchu 1 Stealth Assassins:

This is a relist auction that failed to sell. So Ebay gave me a $1.20 credit.

When I changed the info from GT4 to Tenchu, and dropped the price from $29.00 to $0.01, ebay gave me a 95 cent refund off the listing fee! That's cool. I thought Ebay would keep the money.

SEALED-NEW. Never used. FLAWLESS condition. Sealed in the original plastic. NO SALES TAX - tax-free sale

The Cars
Automotive history is at your fingertips with Gran Turismo 4. You can select from over 700 cars, dating back nearly a century to the 1915 Ford Model T Tourer. From the United Kingdom's AC to Sweden's Volvo, you can choose from practically every car manufactured since 1915! ----- Beyond the list of cars, GT4 sports a new and vastly improved physics engine. The advanced, lifelike drivers compete with fervor unmatched even by some of your video game buddies. Fueled by the latest advances in artificial intelligence, your digital rivals will react to your every move with behavior modeled after actual professional racers.

The Courses
Not only does GT4 bring you the rare opportunity to drive hundreds of cars, it also offers you a vast collection of actual racing locations. Rip through the exotic Costa di Malfi in Capri, burn rubber through the urban jungle of Hong Kong, or throw up some serious dust at the Grand Canyon -- Feeling nostalgic? With Gran 4, you can even race on some of your old, favorite tracks from previous editions.

The LAN Play
Compete against your buddies with the LAN play functionality of GT4. Connect up to three PlayStation 2 consoles and bring together up to six players in a racing frenzy that pits you against your friends. With LAN play, the action has never been more intense or more realistic!

Now you're talkin. Although - just some things I noticed...

A lot of people go for the .01 auctions over ones that even start at five dollars. It also minimizes your fees to start low. If you're worried about receiving a certain amount - why not just set a buy it now or reserve? Just a suggestion - you don't gotta do it :D

Why did you quote my *whole* message? That wasn't necessary.

(1) This is a relist so it doesn't cost me anything, up to $49.99. (2) Also, I saw a GT4 go for $32 + 6 ship last week. People will be willing to pay $29.

seeing one last week doesn't dictate this week.. starting lower also starts bidding wars which could bring the price higher...

Dunno - it's a habit of mine.

And...okay - good luck then.

people get attracted when they see your price starts out low they automatically bid on it or watch it then they all try for the same item because its soo low and you get a higher price I saw bins on ebay for $29 w/ $5 shipping and people were selling gt4 auctioned for atleast $35 + 4 s/h

That can backfire. I often list games at 0.01, and that's where they stay. No bidding war happens.

Shipping deals for CAGs? $5 is some expensive media mail.

I already answered your question via email (friday). Don't you read your email?

I guess people don't want PS1 games anymore? Graphics too old?

Sorry, I may have deleted it thinking it was spam (I get so much of it). The reason I asked was not for my personal knowledge, however, but to give you the opportunity to inform potential buyers that the item is not "BRAND NEW" as advertised.

It's never been played. The CD has never left its case. It's still brand-new.

I timed this auction poorly. I wanted it to end at 11 p.m. Pacific time (lunch break). Oh well.

So, you were the one who removed the shrinkwrap? If not, are you certain it never left the case? Even so, it isn't "brand-new" if it isn't sealed, it is merely "opened, but unused".

Auction's over. We're done here. Move along, nothing to see here.
