big props to Bobby Abreu. 24 HR's in the first round is just flat out amazing especially in a ball park that is a hard to hit home runs out of.
anybody else catch it?

I did, it was hard to believe, especially since some sportscasters were saying this was going to be a boring home run derby.

That was insane, he's going to be pretty worn out for the rest of the night, though. I loved when Jason Bay came up next and hit nothing but grounders and fly balls. Carlos Lee did well, even hitting a few of the golden balls for homers.
In a slightly unrelated note, I flew into Detroit today and saw Karl Ravech and John Kruk at the airport.

I don't think you'll see Bobby leave Philly for a long while. He loves it here in Philly.

I hope Abreu wins this, I hate Pudge.

Ok hate is a strong word, just not a big fan of his.

I'm all for Bobby winning, but I do have a bit of a hometown bias going on.

Would've been cool had Pudge won at home there. When was the last time someone did that?
