View Full Version : Big Emergency Question!

I recently sold an item - and for whatever reason - the listing had one of my old paypal accounts (i lost the password and it was my mother's) as the paypal address and a user sent payment through a debit card to that paypal account instead of the one I currently use. However - that account couldn't accept CC's or debit - so here's my question.

Since the account needs to be upgraded in order for the payment to be received - will it automatically be refunded after a period of time? Or will it just sit in limbo forever? Is there someone I can contact at paypal to forcibly refund the money? He isn't able to do it through the dispute center since the payment still "hasn't been accepted."

Please help - it's very important (i've also given the customer a 25% discount for the trouble).

The customer should be able to cancel the payment, then resend the money.
