I saw Unlim. Saga for $10, finally. I'm not sure if I still want to buy it though.....no rating site has ever given it higher than a 4-5 out of 10. And for a Squareenix game, that's like getting slapped by Richard Simmons.

Yeah, my Shopko had a stack of about 20 of them for $10. Think I'll wait for it to drop to $5 though, it's gotten some pretty bad reviews.

I love Square, but I have to be honest -- this game is absolutely horrible. I bought it at 20 but now realize it's worth about 5.
I bought it for $10 at CompUSA about 2 months ago. It is a very frustrating game. The instruction manual is useless. This is as close to a true pencil and paper RPG I have ever played.

how bad could this game be... i mean its from square, and they have yet to dissapoint me....yea it has been getting a lot of bad reviews but i still want to try it myself. too bad i dont have a shopko near me.

I was disappointed from Square after FFVII...FFVIII sucked so bad. I haven't bought a FF since. The FF franchise kept getting better and better up til FFVI, then went downhill. I still like them, yes, but not as much.
(FF8-11 suck, so do the Saga Frontier games.)

Isn't Unlimited Saga a sequel to Saga Frontier 2? And SF2 was FAR better than Sf, and was also very beautifully done. The art was amazing.

This is a totally different team, not the Chrono/FFXI team and not the FFX/X-2 team, its a totally different team.
Just because the name Square is on the box doesnt mean the same team of programmers made it (hence why the game is so much different). They have like 3 or 4 different teams who make games (I think 3 now actually). They give these guys 100% creative freedom to do what they want, this is like thier experimental team. I think this is the Chocobo Dungeon team that does the Saga games.
I dont even know why they let these guys make this crap continously. Only reason it sells is because the name Square on the box. I wouldnt pay more than 5 bucks for it.
