i hope i can use these at gamecrazy b/c i just bought a grip of them, LOL. that's an automatic 20% off including their regular sales :) if not, i'll just use them as gifts or use them on their buy 2 for $20 deal (and really only pay $16).

There is another thread on FW about 20% off giftcards that I've been meaning to post, but never got around to it.
Many programs exist where you can buy gift cards at 80% of face value. These programs usually have a cheap trial period, so you can create an account, order a bunch of gift cards, and cancel before the free trial period ends.
One caveat is that it not always a simple 20% off. Some of the programs refund your credit card at the end of the month, so I think the strategy is to create your free account around the 15th or 20th of the month, buy all the gift cards you want, get the gift cards and the credit, then cancel the account.
We did this last Christmas for Brookstone, and it seemed to work out fine.
The way this works for cheap ass gamers is that one of the companies you can buy gift cards for is Circuit City. Simple Escapes is supposed to have Circuit City gift cards, but I have never actually signed up with their progrma (one of my relatives signed up for either Homeworks or Galleria, and I did get $400 worth of Circuit CIty gift cards from her).
Here is a link to Simple Escapes:

You will need a credit card to do this, so sorry to anyone who is too young to have a CC.

The used games at Hollywood Video are WAY overpriced. I saw GTA3 (Xbox) for $30 last time I looked.

I don't go to Hollywood Video often (never rented from them because I don't have a local store) so I didn't know they were overpriced.

oh, i didn't mean to sound sarcastic if that's what you were thinking. i meant to "thank you" for letting me know that they sell games there. :D
just bummed that they "might" be high priced, lol.

I've seen some good cheapass deals at Hollywood Video, if you're not afraid of used games. I've seen multiple copies of Soul Calibur II for $10--back when it was selling retail for $50. Also, multiple copies of Animal Crossing for $10. Finally, just last week I saw an official Nintendo 64 expansion pak for $10. Their deals are definitely YMMV, but it's worth checking out if you're in picking up a video or are in the area.

My mom gave me a $10 Hollywood GC for xmas last year. Gamecrazy wont accept them. I dont rent from Hollywood so i have to buy a crappy used dvd or something.

They used to, untill GC moved in. Some HV that don't have a GC might still sell games but there selection was crap.
