Does any one use it and how does it work

I use it once in a while.

It consists of a software CD that you install on your computer. There is an Action Replay memory card slot that is connected to your PC via USB. You put the memory card in the Action Replay slot, transfer downloaded saves to the memory card, and then use the memory card with your Xbox.

If you want to share saves, you do the opposite. Easy as pie. :)

It's not just saves, is it? I was considering purchasing one, and roster saves, real names for NCAA players, etc. would be nice. I don't really have a need for other types of saves, though.

Isn't the AR a cheat device as well? Hmm, time for me to do some research.

Okay, so it is a cheat device. This may be worth my $30 just to unlock stuff and maybe get some new life out of my older games.

Just brought one, it didnt work at all, called tech support, they said it must be deffective, i will find out tonight when i exchange it.

I've got an AR Max that I used for my PS2 - it works fine, and also allows you to play import DVDs on your Ps2, which is a nice little bonus...

Since I sold my PS2 a few months back, I'd be willing to sell my complete AR Max for cheap if anyone is interested. I'm also up for trade offers - PM Me if interested.

It's sort of a cheat device but not really. Its only function is to copy saves back and forth between your Xbox and your PC. There are some hacked saves though, so that's the only way to really use it as a cheat device. In addition, the Xbox Action Reply is a pathway to many abilities some consider to be unnatural.

Uh... yeah. I'm not planning on using any cheats online, if that's what you meant. I could certainly use the assistance, but it's just not my style.

I need to to get this... I was playing KOTR and had like 40+ saves when I finally went below the 50,000+ blocks barrier... 8-gigs is nothing, especialyl if you rip your music to the HD.
