For $10, and some crazy, insane funny moments, I am happy I waited for this major price drop on the game.
While it is visually stunning, to some extent, there are major errors in the programming. Just play with Brak and myself at some point during the weekend to see what we mean. If only I had a capture card and a site to host video, you'd all see it sooner.

I thought about that quote, again, while I was in line at the checkout of a grocery store and I laughed out loud. For some reason, it tickles my funny bone... and my sense of humor. :x

I probably should, atleast to get the invites out to those that have requested them. I haven't been on this game since the day I opened it up. I may have to go back and try it again. Possibly Thursday or this weekend.
I played this with Brax for a little bit earlier, and some of the things are fucking hilarious. I think the best one is where you're crouching and then start jumping. you look like fuckin Spiderman jumping off a building! :lol:

I like how when you and I were playing, I selected whatever class uses the rocket launcher, and a guy actually called me a "rocket launcher whore". Nearly pissed myself. The comedy ensues.
The game is very sloppy... way to easy to kill and way too easy to get killed.

Like Conker all over, but without the squirrels and bears, and with a weird looking guy. Time to play this some more today before Halo 2 stuff or tomorrow, so I can send the invites for the CAG clan on here.

I would be down for a Snowblind clan, however due to work I usually don't end up hopping onto the xbox till after midnight easter time. If you're all west coast time zone this shouldn't be a problem though.

Nah, the only thing that would make me have to get off of Live at midnight is a job or job hunting the next morning. I just tend to dislike playing Halo 2 for more than 3 hours straight anymore.

I am down for playing this late in the evening tomorrow night, I.E after 9:30ish CT. I may also have an NBA 2K5 league game to be played as well, should know more tomorrow.

Rabbitt, Crispy, Jughead and I are gonna meet up to practice on the clan match tonight (I think). But I'll have to crack open Black Arrow afterwards and give that a try.

I finally got around to sending the invites out tonight. Sorry about the long delay.
Damn, if this game had some polish to it, it could've been better than Halo. The multiplayer just seems broken (although funny). We couldn't even really try to mess around since assholes were joining are party and we couldn't keep them out with a closed party feature. It's fun to play for a little bit since it has a good concept like the ammo and health stations, a variety of weapons, different types of grenades like gas and flash, and the mines are really cool. It even has a kind of Mech, which really confused me. I'm going to play the single player to see if that's what got it the great reviews. If I don't really even like the single player, I'll probally end up just trading it in. I watched the video review for this, and it says it's based off of Deus Ex, which I have the first Deus Ex on the PC and Invisible War on the Xbox and haven't even tried either. Never even put them in the disc tray.
sj41, when you and I were at the med station, the game froze and I couldn't get back on.

Sorry about not getting back on to the game last night. I sent the clan invites to the people that had requested them, as well as sticky, then I couldn't start a game. My connection in my room finally gave in and I kept getting the troubleshooter and it didn't work, so I called it a night.
Also, to accept an invite, you have to go to the clan feature and click on invitation.

hmm, the thing for me now is, since there was that delay in getting the invites out, I just figured it was dead in the water and accepted another invite from some random dude. Unfortunately the "clan" is just him and me right now, though the clan rank is 303 at the moment, which I don't really understand. That and he and I haven't played together in a single match after the one that motivated him to send me the invite.
In any case I would rather be playing with CAGs but I just want to know if you all are thinking of sticking with this. I finally found a CTF server last night and my suspicion was confirmed, all the different class configurations give the possibility of some wicked powerful team tactics if you could organize a group of good players. (a grunt fills the base with mines, then chucks a flashbang and detonates the mines, while a scout drops into reflex boost to snag the flag, then run it up to another grunt who defends the runner with ballistic shielding on, using a berserker to set up temporary riot shields to funnel the opposition/close off alternate routes, getting a sniper to stick Herf balls on allies to make them walking EMPs, in some situation one player can jump on top of another and use it to put a agent or sniper on top of buildings, etc.)
I would like to start playing more of this team based stuff since I'm finding that with good players in straight deathmatch the game can devolve into quake 3 style matches of "who's the better shot with a railgun?" The only counter to this style of play that I've found to sort of work is to be a scout and drop into reflex boost basically to move too fast for them to track you. But it's hard as hell to get close enough to make the shotty or mine layer effective.
anyway, yeah. I've actually started playing this game instead of everything else on live just because I love the balance of the grunt class (except vs the agent) and I can just feel that there's a pretty deep potential to this game that just isn't being exploited.
Hey folks-
I'd be up for trying this sometime. I've jumped online enough to know why you're calling it "COMEDY GAME" ;) , but I can never find a game w/ more than 3 people. It seems like it'd be pretty fun if we could round up 8 or so.
