dont wanna hear any complaining about the price point. But it, love it , own it
I figure since this has not been confirmed I would stick it in the PS2 discussion thread

I hope this comes out for the Xbox. I really do not want a PS2, but as much as I love SF I may just be tempted enough

Why not just buy ps3? buying a console this late would be silly.

I got the hyper street fighter 2 import....it sucks huge donkey balls. Espcially if your like me and thought the SF supers sucked. Thats bascially what the game is with the option to choose your character from which ever SF2 you want. Makes for a really shitty game.
Capcom should take a hint from Miday on how to do a fighting game compilation.
Yet....29.99 for Sf3:3rd impact is great!

I know its a little late, but Metal Gear 3 is on the top of my wishlist which is why I want one.
I will probably force my friend to buy the game and bring over his PS2

$30 sounds good, but don't expect it to go down in price... ever. Especially since it's on the PS2.

I agree with Scrubking. The fact that they are including Third Strike is going to make this thing fly off the shelves

and thats not even including all the aftermarket upgrades (Rainbow edition, etc.).
I checked Gamespot and they said CAPCOM never anwsered calls about the anime

Rainbow edition LOL I remember that one back in the days where you could do mid air fireballs and press start to change characters. It was taken off the arcades fast however.

I have to get this since I don't have any fighting games for PS2, yet it is one of my favorite genres.

mainly because CAPCOM threatened a lawsuit. Those games served their purpose and got CAPCOM to upgrade SFII though

yea but those were available on all other platforms for much cheaper. The fact that Third Strike is included could make it sell for more. Either way I am just praying for an Xbox release with online play

I take this news with a grain of salt, when Resident Evil 2 and 3 were announced they were for 20 bucks a piece, few months down the line they hit store shelves at a beautiful 49.99.
All the same i'll get this if its 30, love Third Strike but hate the dreamcast controls.
