Which PIXAR movie most needs a SEQUEL?

I'd love to see Incredibles 2 or Monsters, Inc. 2. They were successful with Toy Story - why not others?

I'm more down for the Incredibles but not Monsters. Monsters was a good singular movie. I'm just not seeing it go multiple movie lengths. Animated superheroes? Incredibles is perfect sequel fodder.

I agree, incredibles has a lot more possibilities to it, more supervillans, readjusting being heros. I think they could also pull off another Nemo, maybe he goes on an adventure or has a kid of his own. Even though it would be cheesy it would prob be a good watch.

And just to remind everyone...they have 8 directors working on NEW projects right now...sequels just may be the last thing we would want from them :)

Incredibles. Bugs Life would be a pretty good the choice too.

The thing is all those movies are properties of Disney. Pixar & Disney are divorced so if those sequels get made it would be Disney making them....not Pixar.

I think we're forgetting one thing: Pixar's contract with Disney is over. Cars is the last movie in the deal, and unless things change, the studios are about to go their separate ways.

Any sequels at this point would be done entirely by Disney, without any aid from Pixar. Disney would have to do EVERYTHING - including rebuilding the 3D character models from the ground up, because Pixar still has control of those.

Worse, going from how recent Disney sequels have turned out...I'd wish for none of them. Going from the quality of the direct to video quickies, I'm afraid to see what they'd do to the Pixar characters.

Disney and Pixar's split is not finalized. This isnt me being hopeful or some shit like that ( I think the weinstiens new company should take'em) but with Iger in and Eisner out, Jobs has said that they're closer to a deal then they have been in years.

I read the same thing in the paper the other day in an article related to the Incredibles DVD not meeting expectations

Here's the deal with that:
A. Pixar goes away, TS3 goes into full swing production at Disney (they are in pre-production right now). Mind you Pixar will NOT give Disney the source files...Disney will have to make EVERYTHING again. That takes it from direct to DVD to Big Blockbuster (hopes) at that point.

B. Pixar and Disney stay together. TS3 (Disney version) gets shit canned. All Sequel rights will be in Pixars holding (while under contract with Disney, at least)

Also, it was Disney's mistake, not Pixars, with the DVD's. Dreamworks had the same problem before with Shrek 2.

I think a sequel to Incredibles is good. I also wouldn't mind seeing a sequel to Toy Story 2. I thought both Toy Story and Toy Story 2 are very good. So why not a 3rd movie?
