Do a lot of people still play it? Are there a lot of lag? I use DSL and I tired to play R6:BA and it was laggy. Are there lag in this game? Should I go for Xbox or PS2?

The lag is unbelievably awful for Battlefront. Seriously. I love the hell out of this game, i'd be the first to recommend it, but the Live play is absolutly complete and utter shit. It supports 32 people, but lags to hell after four or five join. I had a one on one battle against my cousin and I couldn't even hear him in the microphone and he couldn't hear me. Yes, our microphones were unmuted and yes, the volume was up. That was the first time that had happened though, all other times were just laggy.
If you can find it for >$15, grab it. The single player is a blast, though it's short.
In short, yes, it's playable on live, but not with many people at once. Grab it yourself and see, but i've never heard of a game with more than six people without extremely bad lag.

Ouch that sucks! There's a single player mode? Is it like a campaign/story or just playing against bots?

You do mean... if you can find it for LESS than $15, right?
Yeah, the campaign mode is fun, anyways. But there are a bunch of issues with Live. It's fun, but flawed. Hopefully, the mistakes will be corrected for Battlefront 2.
