i also saw r:racing evolution for 20 bucks but was unsure on whether i should get it as its gotten mixed reviews. anyone have any info on it?

Ordered Hitman 2 for the Gamecube just now.
It was out of stock earlier in the week.

Thanks for the reminder. Also $14.99 (free ship) was
the lowest online price I also could find for it.

R: Racing Evolution on GC is a pretty good game. Don't listen to the reviews. L and R triggers do great for this game. I got it when it was $29.99 at Best Buy.

If you play Hitman 2 GC, save your game to 1 memory card 59. That way, you won't corrupt a whole 251. And then only save it after you beat a level.

If you do get a corrupted file message, you can delete it in-game, then beat the level you were on or the first level. Then save it.

I backed my save up, by copying it to a 251. Then, if needed, I would copy it back over to my 59.

$20 is the msrp for Road Trip, so that's no deal really, plus it's not that good a game.

Is there an issue with this game and memory cards? I bought the GC version a few months ago for $15 and played it a little and never had a problem with my memory card. But because I wasn't playing it much and I was out of room on my memory cards I deleted the file for something else. However, I plan to play the game once I get Nintendo's memory card 1019 in June. I just hadn't heard of there being problems with it corrupting memory cards...if that's what you're saying.

I'm not really sure if it'll corrupt your card, but I never took that chance. It did corrupt my HM2 save file though. On some levels, if you save in the middle of a level, it'll corrupt the file. So that's why I said save it after you beat the level. It never screwed up when I did it that way.

I've only had it corrupt one save file, I think. After that I wouldn't save it mid level anymore.

Basement Killing and that other level are the glitchiest levels. You'll get disc read errors on those levels. I finally had to turn off sound/music/voice to make it through that one level.

Before even owning the game, I had read about people getting corrupt files over on the GameFAQs board.
