I actually think a three year old would like that game more then just about everyone else since they don't know any better.

I don't really see the problem. I think if you showed a non-gamer a pic of Conker they might very well assume it is a kid's game, the writer is just playing on that for his teaser. Seems to have worked, right?

He even mentions it is rated M and it isn't like the article is lambasting the game for trying to trick parents into buying it for their little ones or anything. It's basically a review of the game, but it doesn't have any sort of bottom-line score or rating.

Well at least this wasn't a rant about how bad video games are for your tykes. The reviewer seemed to really like the game. I thought it would be like...

"Video game makers have stooped to an all time low! They are now making games that appeal to little kids, but fill them with bad language, drugs, sex, & crude humor. And the warning on the box? 9 out of 10 moms didn't even see it!"

They way it was phrased "Newest Conker game" sounded very much like it was a series of games...insinuating that just maybe someone remembered the Gameboy game. And if you remember that Conker game, you would most likely now be old enough to play the new one anyways.

I understand the whole At First Glance thing, considering my GF's mom wanted to see Sin City because the Black and White made it look like an old classic. Yeah :)

well, it wasnt an article about how the game is bad for kids, its essentially just a warning, followed by a short review of the game. In fact, the last sentence praises the game for being good
