I've been keeping my eye on this one. Any chance it'll go down? Wal-mart finally lowered it to $44.95, but Wally World monopolizing a-holes ain't getting my money. Does anyone know of any official plans about Starfox Assault and it's pricing point in the near future?
I have a feeling, though, that since the response of the public was so negative, it'll never become a Player's Choice and it'll become CC or BB clearance fodder.

Problem is this game is very short, so it is only worth $20 for most people and will never sell many copies for $50.
My question is why is Mario Kart Double Dash still $50. That should have gone down long ago!

Personally, I thought the game's lenght was among the least of it's problems.

I borrowed this game from a friend and beat it in two days....on the hardest difficulty
Not only is this game short, its easy, and the landmaster controls are pretty bad. The on foot mission can get boring. The only think I liked about it was the Arwing parts. I'll buy it (if I ever do) 5 years from now at a garage sale for 50 cents.

I traded one of those $14.99 Metroid Prime 2's for it at my local VGS :bouncy:

I picked up the US Version of Star Fox Assault from Play Asia (http://www.playasia.com/) a month or so ago for $19.99. Shipping was prompt and inexpensive. Unfortunately they are out of stock right now. It was the first time I ordered from them, so I'm not sure how often or if they'll restock the game. Worth keeping an eye on though.

I was kinda disappointed. The air missions were classic Star Fox, but the ground missions totally ruined it for me. Controls were terrible.
Having never played Starfox before I didn't have any expectations and I thought it was pretty good. My son and I both played it. I got it from GR using their preorder deal so it was only $30 (less, actually, considering that I made a few $ on the trade-ins). I would definitely say it is worth $20 if you can get it for that (or it becomes PC). I had a hell of a time getting through the last mission on normal so I wouldn't say it is *really* easy (and I've playd through games like Rogue Leader).
It is, however, VERY short. I was a bit surprised when the final mission (which I think is the 10th?) actually turned out to be the end :D.
But you can replay it to get the bronze/silver/gold medals. I had managed only one silver (haven't played it in months though). I do plan to go back and get the rest of the medals. My son could complete most of the missions (he's 5) but not get any medals. So I guess, to you guys, most of it would be fairly easy - the challenge (for me anyway) was the last mission and the medals.
