Yeah, the coveted SRPG could've found it's way into my collection long ago, but procrastination coupled with cheap ass attitude has kept me away form the game. I was waiting for it to get cheaper, or for a rumored re-release, but none of this came.
So, Gamestop has it for $40 Used, but they don't guarantee a box and manual. eBay buyers are crazy, shelling out more than $70 for a sealed on and up to $60 for a complete.
I could send an email to Gamestop asking whether I'd get a box and manual, since I'd like them for eventual resale purposes (Those NIS games retain their value really well.) Anyway, am I better off hunting on eBay, risking it on gamestop's website, or go driving miles to get one?
If you can find a better price for a complete copy, I'd be unbelievably greatful.

why does everyone want this game all of the sudden? You're 2 years late.

It's hilarious, prices are crazily ranged, the most expensive I've seen was $30 more than the lowest. I mean, eBayers are generally very stubborn; if they've locked onto an auction they will not relinquish and pay way too much.
If you're lucky, you could get this:

Imagine this: I purchased Castlevania: Lament of Innocence for $50 the week it came out at Best Buy, bypassing Disgaea. "Oh, I'll get it when it's cheaper."
2 Months later, I'm regretting purchasing Lament of Innocence, as the price has plummetted to $20 after the Christmas season.
1 year later, I cry over the losss of a game that I finally realized would never be cheaper.
I better buy the game now. Do you guys see how much Rhapsody is selling for on eBay? Nippon Ichi has a knack for crazy rare games.

Why do people constantly confuse Nippon Ichi with Atlus...? NIS developed these games. But they are NOT the company that publishes them. Atlus is the company that publishes them and makes them crazy hard to find.
For NIS developed and published games see Phantom Brave and soon Makai Kingdom, neither of which will be rare or hard to find.

Yeah, I know what I'm talking about, but I constantly refer to the developer, because, though the publisher Atlus does determine distribution, I just don't feel like mentioning them, and it is true that NIS does have a knack for their games becoming rare, even though that's not their doing, just look at Rhapsody, Disgaea and La Pucelle, all 3 are rare now, but neither are published by NIS, yet I still like to refer to them, just in case people don't know about the wonderful company they are.
Oh, and just to prove I know the difference, I'll even list all semi-recent games they've had a hand in. Publisher/Developer
Rhapsody - Atlus/NIS
Disgaea - Atlus/NIS
La Pucelle - Mastiff/NIS
Phantom Brave - NIS/NIS (This explains why Phantom Brave is so common, Nippon's coming to the US and now publishing of their games, and they didn't come in short supply.)
Atelier Iris - NIS/Gust (I doubt I'll have a problem getting this in the future, for the same reason as Phantom Brave.)
Since Atlus has been producing only tiny amounts of their games (Nocturne, Stella Deus) I;m going to remind myself to pick them up before they're gone.
Basically, I mention Nippon Ichi because they're the cool company that makes the games. I know how the Publisher/Developer thing works.
Oh, and concerning that last part, I hated how they cancelled Makai Wars for the PSP. It may have been a good idea, because the PSP crowd is way more casual with some hardcore gamers mixed in (I know a lot of casual gamer friends who have PSPs) whereas Nintendo has it's fanboy following. They'd be good to release it on that platform, though I doubt it's possible.
