The game was supposed to have come out days ago but my Gamestop/EB have yet to receive any copies...

Because Majesco just declared bankruptcy and less than a third of their first shipments actual went out.

Do you have a link to an article that says this? I know they were right ont he fringe, but I thought that they would squeek by. Still, this is sad. They were really changing from a mostly generic/budget title/acclaimish (that's what they reminded me of for some reason) to a great developer/publisher. To bad their recent string of releases didn't turn out into the string of hits they needed. Psychonaughts is great, etc.

To answer the OP's question, I know that my EB still hasn't recieved a shipment yet. I'm hoping that maybe Fry's will but I'm really doubting it now.

Picked it up at the La Cienaga TRU in Los Angeles, CA.

The lady said they had four calls about the game!

Gamestop will not be getting the game for the next week and a half according to one manager.

Yea, Gamestop has been offering INSANE used prices on newer GBA / DS stuff. I got Riviera there for 19.99 used, I know Meteos sells there for 19.99 used, and now Nanostray?

Man, I know one of the four Gamestop's here will get in a used copy one day, I can just hold off and score it for 10 bucks less + 10% discount.

I agree that Majesco did put out some good games but their recent titles haven't been the best (except for Nanostray and Psyconaughts). I really want to play Psyconaughts and Nanostray so I guess I'll have to pick both of them up (Nanostray will be for later, when I get a DS). I don't want to pay up the ass for them later...

I been calling every game store and walmart, sears, ect to see if they had it, and barely yesturday gamecrazy tells me they got ONE copy in, not only one left from sold, just ONE arrived in there shipment, sealed, i snagged it right away, Awesome game, but sad to see not many are going to be released...so it seems.

Just religiously check Gamestop's online stock locator for Nanostray used... if you have a few stores in your area, it's guaranteed to come up 19.99, and the copies in the store are VERY good about case / manual (I've never seen a DS game without them).

I just scored Riviera for 19.99 plus 10% discount, and I checked the store locator about once a day. With a game like Nanostray, I can imagine someone getting it, playing the hell out of it, and then just trading it back in to get something different, or maybe someone buying it and it's just not for them.

Unless you're dead set on getting it new and sealed, 19.99 is a good price point for this game.

Nothing at the GameStop I work at yet. It's listed as Active in our systems, but I've heard reports of it being listed as discontinued already at EB. Ouch.

I have a reserve for it, so hopefully...

haha this was kinda a serious question... as I am a secret DS fan awaiting the next decent game after cursed canvas. I was going to wait it out but if it's going to be hard to find, I was going to grab it now.

Some of the biggest online retailers have it, I know. But their shipping prices (and some of them charge tax, like Amazon.com) hurt a bit. Overstock looks good though, $30 for a shipped copy.

Roufuess, I'm not set on getting a new copy but since I don't have a DS I won't be able to test it if I do get it and therefore a new copy would be best as I could return it to the merchant.

EDIT* I just ordered it from Overstock using their Bill Me program, which works out nicely as you get the item now but pay later so I can pay them later. Using a link from Fatwallet, I got 7% off and 4% cash back (at Fatwallet).

Well I went around today and it seem that of the three Gamecrazies in my area, only one recieved any copies and the store employee told me they were gone nearly instantly.

Went to two EB's as well and they both said that they hadn't recieved any shipment and then I had them look in their system and call around to see if any other stores had recieved any and they both said that zero stores in the Vegas area recieved any at all. Tomorrow I'm going to try and hit up maybe a couple of gamestops, maybe a TRU if I get the chance, and/or Fry's/CC/BB (one of the three.)

Anybody know if BB/CC recieved any copies of this game? I'm nearly 100% sure that Fry's would get this as they get everything.

EB isn't carrying the game at all. pre-orders were cancelled, and though it's technically in the system stores never received any. i found mine at Gamecrazy, though it was the only copy they had and it wasn't factory sealed, just shrinkwrapped (grrr....).

If anyone can't find it and want a copy, try buy.com and Amazon as they still have copies in stock. Try to get it from buy.com as they have some coupons to lessen the price. On Amazon, it's like $36 shipped and they charged me tax!:bs:

Whoa! I didn't even see that you were in Rockford! I live right near Cherry Valley but I don't go that GS much, the one in Forest Plaza is much closer (though the difference is only about 5 minutes).

That said, I would guess that would make the second statement false as well.

Got a copy today. Did a search on Gamestop to see which stores near me had one. Found one & called & they agreed to hold it for me till I got there. The game is hot!

Saw it at my local Rhino yesterday. I passed on it, if anyone else in the area is interested, because shooters aren't really my thing. If you have a Rhino nearby, you might want to check them out!
