He's saying that if he tries to mislead a magazine subscription company by providing false information to get free subscriptions, that someone will eventually screw him over, thus balancing the universe in terms of Karma.

No, unforunately. But $12.00 for one year after you get the free three magazines from Nintendo Power is a pretty damn good deal. I don't think I'm going to renew though unless I get a similiar price, I don't want to pay $20.00 bucks or whatever it is.

Gamepro: There was a couple of years ago, but never since

Gameinformer: If you join the discount club/card thingy from Gamestop (or EB, IDK) you get a free sub. Otherwise, none.

Nintendo Power: If you've registered x number of games through Nintendo.com (3 games, IIRC), you can get a 3 month trial

If that was referring to me... I did search, and was not requesting, but asking if anyone has seen those, to give them a heads-up that someone is looking for them. For instance, someone might recall on one of their free magazine ventures on the net, that they had indeed come across one of the aforementioned titles, but did not post them yet. And would then proceed to with the knowledge that it is wanted.

And to reply to the poster two spots up; from what I have learned by searching (using the search button), that it is rare to find a Game Informer subscription (same for OXM I think), and as far as is known here, there have not been any for a long while, if any. I mentioned it in my post a bit prior to my discovery of the above mentioned. I will now remove the Game Informer part.

1. I dont think so. If your address is already on file, so I dont think they'll let you. I know you have to have a different email address, but you can always try it and see.

2. You can, but they do review your info. My b/f has put his jobs as retail and student, and they actually called him to verify which is correct. Its possible they'll call you.

Nope. Just keep subscribing to EGM whenever there is a new link/sign-up. That is all you have to do, it will automatically stack onto your current subscription. I haven't received any doubles yet.

Sadly thats something I noticed magazines started doing. You technically are still getting 12 issues and the company gets to unload back issues they have. And in doing so they can start trying to get you to renew sooner b/c you've recieved 3 issues at the start of your sub and only "9" left. If you call and complain and say you bought those already they should fix it for you, but its free so I never worried about it.

I've had this happen to me on OPM too and I never even got one of the old issues they said they sent me.
