Don't forget you can also get the smash packs for $10 at Compusa.
Sega Smash Pack Combo. (http://www.compusa.com/products/product_info.asp?product_code=307739&pfp=SEARCH)
This has a few less games than the Mega PAck. The Mega pack includes the smash pack. But if you want to get a bunch of games on the cheap this is a nice alternative. Pick up in store though, shipping at compusa sucks.[/url]

I hate being broke. Also does anyone know of a USB adaptor for a Saturn pad?It would be great to play those games how they are meant to be played

Nice collection of games and I would reccomend it to anyone who doesn't have those games. Since I have most of those games on Saturn and Dreamcast, I'm going to pass though.

You may have luck getting this at B&M Walmart as well. I got my MegaPack from there a few months ago for $19.99. It includes these games (the Best Buy site doesn't list them all)....
Altered Beast
Columns
Comix Zone
Crazy Taxi
Flicky
Golden Axe
Kid Chameleon
Outrun
Phantasy Star 2
Sega Bass Fishing
Sega Swirl
Shining Force
Sonic the Hedgehog 2
Sonic and Knuckles Collection (includes Sonic 3)
Sonic CD
Sonic R
Sonic Spinball
Super Hang-On
Super Shinobi
Vectorman
Vectorman 2
Virtua Fighter 2
That's 23 games for $19.99. A GREAT deal IMO.

what kind of controller did you use to play them?
I have a MakoPad PC controller made by Interact. It is a GREAT controller but it may be hard to find.
Here is a couple of reviews...

And a pic...

It has the best D-Pad for a PC controller that I ever used. It is very accurate. Most PC pads have awful D-Pads. I have stuck with this controller for the last 4 years. It's great for emulators and games like those in the MegaPack that were originally console games.
*EDIT* This also has L R triggers like the SNES Pad and throttle control.

i cant get it to work on xp at all, and on my me laptop, its kinda jumpy. it could just be me, but its still fun as hell. id so pick this up if i could, even though i have most of those games.

i dont know, all i have is the sonic cd and sonic 3 w/knuckles pack. both are pretty bitchy on xp and me. this pack might be improved, or there might be a patch, but i think the best bet is to run em on an old pc.
