I just sold an original gameboy zelda link's awakening, sealed , players choice for 82 bucks (but all it has is a little pc logo, not a huge strip like now). I then sold another to the second highest bidder for 80. I still have 3 more. I bought them for 6 bucks a piece years ago when a store clearanced them or screwed up the price (not sure which). I put them in my families store for 20 bucks each and they never sold, and I'm thrilled now that they didn't. All 5 are flawless like they were just made, except for a security tag on 4 of them, and a hole on the 5th where I tried to remove the tag (was doing fine until the very end, where the plastic ripped, figured its best not to attempt with the others).
I also recently sold a castlevania sotn sealed for 300.
Actually, 123 for a sealed ff7 is cheap.

This isn't much of a surprise.. infact, it's shocking that it's only at $123.

:applause: congrats on the sales , it amazes me how far a person will go for a sealed game

Wow, I keep seeing sealed versions of FF games in stores ($10-$20). Should I buy them?

I'd be too scared to buy a sealed game to keep sealed. How do you know that somebody hasn't carefully pryed open the seal, replaced the game disks with AOL disks, and then carefully resealed it? That would just eat away at me until I'd finally break down and open it.

Well, his auction DOES say "Nr MINT". I'd think if he meant "No Reserve" then he would capitalize the letters. Seems more like an abbreviation for "Near". That would be a riot if you were right, evilmax17.

The game looks resealed to me, I could be wrong though.

Some games don't have that folded wrap. Silhouette mirage (a single jewel case game), suikoden, and kartia didn't, I don't think most double jewel case games do.

And it's not even that great a game... :(

Too bad FF VIII hasn't hit that high. I still have that one sealed. I still don't see the point in paying that much for a factory game that is readily available used or at GH.
A sealed Zelda for the NES went for over $400 in the past few days.

That's insane.
Too bad the few games i have Sealed, arent worth anything at all, like timesplitters 2, pikmin 1 non gh, and tales of symphonia, though to me, what might be my best sealed game, still isnt worth jack rofl, Marvel vs capcom 2 JP. to me, its worth alot, my favorite game ever, ebay waise, bleh, i doubt it.

All of my sealed PS1 games (including FFVII GH) have the folded seal. I'm not saying this isn't legit, but it looks shady to me. Also, I'm not sure what the "vertical seam" thing is all about--I've never seen it on a PS1 game.

Well, I have a suikoden I bought from toys r us (well had, I just sold it) and it didn't have a folded seal. I have kartia from FYE and it doesn't have the folded seal. I've had 2 silhouette mirages, both with the stickers on the wrapper advertising the lunar democ disc, and both didn't have the folded seal. My oddworld abe's exodus doesn't have the folded seal, my hoshigami (from toys r us) doesn't have the folded seal. I had 2 copies of persona without the folded seal, and my wild arms doesn't have the folded seal. Though silhouette mirage is the only single disc jewel case I've seen without it.
Also, while this guy has a very large amount of rare sealed games, they seem legit. His ff tactics has the hanger on back (can't see the top well enough but nothing sticks up), and none of the single case games have anything sticking up on the top of bottom indicating a reseal. He also has some games, including ff7, up for sale complete/mint but used.
