I already asked on the avs forum, but figured a CAG might have some insight....

Basically I'm looking for a HDTV to use as a monitor for my PC. Since regular TV's don't have a high enough resolution to run a desktop, Im looking for somthing large that will do the job.

So my question is do i need a plasma or LCD tv......or can a regular HDTV receive signal from a PC and display a desktop properly ?

Also if a TV has DVI does it mean it can handle PC signal ?

Any thoughts would be appreciated.
