I was just browsing through imdb and saw that Oliver Stone is working on a 9/11 motion picture.
Isn't it way too early for something like this? Even though the story looks to be focusing on 2 cops survival in the rubble it doesnt seem right to be using 9/11 as a backdrop. There was bound to be a movie like this sooner or later but i didnt expect only 4 year after it happened.

i think there was some talk about this or something like this being made WAY back in 2003 and people complain it was too soon.

Well they did already have that made for TV movie about Giuliani on the USA Network that featured 9/11 pretty prominently and that came out like 2 years ago.

In a way it's to soon because it was only 4 years ago and everyone remembers it still. I say it would be okay in 20 years or so.

Yeah, what exactly are we talking about with 9/11? Is it that TV show that used to be on with Captain Kirk as a host or that movie about the fat guy that hates George Bush?

:sigh: I know, but he did mention that people are forgetting about 9/11. My post was a response to that... That's like the 3rd time today one of my jokes has fallen flat on here.

How? He said, 'go ahead, make it, and make it big, i.e. famous, with big production values. He also said that people are forgetting about it, thus we need to be reminded how we were attacked.'
Don't know how you could get confused with that one.

I agree completely with slide, plus there have already been documentaries, and some tv made movies about 9/11 already made that came out 2 years ago or so..

ExMachina - Comic Book - Man with powers that enable him to "talk" with electronics stops 1 of the planes on 9/11. Gets into Mayor's office because of it.
Great comic, been going on for over a year.
