Dear Op,
Have you always sucked at life? Or is it just now, that you suck at life?

I posted a link to a digital camera at Amazon and the link was automatically changed to include their referral ID. That's not fair. Therefore I decided CAG shouldn't profit off of my work and got rid of the link.

Does that mean you signed up to CAG today just to post your own referral link? That's basically spamming... like that one guy who kept posting Half.com referrals.
Edited to add: I guess so... he tried to do it here (http://www.laptoplogic.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1060).

Sure does sound like spam.
If you use CAG's webspace/server to post a link to an item, why do you care if they make a little commission on that? If you have a problem with that, I don't know, host your own website and post the links there.
The referral does not affect the buyer at all, it's transparent to them, it merely helps the hosting website so they can afford to buy the webspace/bandwidth for you to post your spam in the first place.
